Pros: Good cooling, Good integrated audio, allows 3way xfire or SLI

Good board, I've had some problems but it is generally good. There are only 2 USB 2.0 headers and no firewire which is not good being that the primary use of this computer for me is video work.

Running with FX-6100 overclocked to 4.2ghz. Only fails Prime test on the 6th core. Weird, but windows is solid. Launched Battlefield and Starcraft 2 at the same time, ALT-tab to both and no problems. Cons: Need to do an update  to Bios straight away otherwise you may have Ram compatibility issuesBetter have all SATA drives

Pros: Lotsa FeaturesNice Bios (must update  though)easy setup
Comment:
Bought to replace a Crosshair 3. My 3rd top shelf ASUS motherboard and so far just as good if not better than the rest. The feature make it worth it the investment just make sure to upgrade the BIOS right away or you will have memory issues (at least I did) once you do that it will be right as rain. The bios is actually...Pretty...and I know small thing, but it is nice to go into a bios that doesn't look like a left over from my old days of setting up refurb IBM computer at the local computer shop :)I paired it with a New 6 core Bulldozer and Overclocked it without any issues.

Very impressive motherboard, and if you like ASUS like me you will be impressed as well. This motherboard has a very great design, and is definitely a big pick for you gamers out there. The BIOS is slick as well since it has a GUI and can setup profiles for overclocking. You can simply change the profiles by a push of a button on the motherboard as well. I would highly recommend this board to anyone looking for something to use with their new 8 Core AMD like myself. I hooked this thing up with 16GB 2133 DDR3 ram and a 3.1GHZ 8 Core AMD, it works great.

Cons: all the feature software like deamon tools pro and anti virus software expired before I even opened the box and the MB was manufactured a month ago... language of bios was set to Chinese as default so had to switch it.

Pros: great features, usb 3.0, overclocking features, and EAX 5.0 SUPPORT, get the dream of EAX on your board. can support alot of voltage.
Comment:
a overal great board, remember to get serial ATA sata drives as it does NOT support IDE (those old ribben drives or hard drive connections. overal great board, wish it came with serial sata power cables just in case.

I bought this board for extreme overclocking a FX 8150 under LN2 and it did not disappoint. it was easy to insulate and had the guts to push my cpu to 8ghz. I would suggest this board for anyone wanting to take their AMD cpu to the next level. whether under subzero or a nice 24/7 overclock. Great product here.

Cons: needed to update  bios*

Pros: nice technology a few advancements, bios setups is different looks and feels better
Comment:
Had to take my old rig apart to get my phenom processor out to update  bios that was a pain. wouldn't post with my new fx processor. older reversion of bios wouldn't allow my new processor to work. Once bios were update d worked fine, but just like my old rig, ram stability while gaming is very finicky, disappointing when price range is so high

Cons: Setting up RAID with multiple drives + SSD can be tricky

Pros: The best motherboard for the AMD FX 8150 CPU
Comment:
This board is simply the best for the new AMD FX 8150 CPU. When you do get the Crosshair V and the new FX8150 (Buldozer) make sure you update  your BIOS right away to the latest version. Since the CPU came out, Asus already released 2 BIOS update s for this board, which I think is great. When you are going to be setting up your RAID, make sure Sata ports 1 -4 are used for RAID, ports 5-6 are set to IDE, with Legacy support enabled. Here is my set up, ports 1-4 I have 4 western digital drives (1GB x4) set up as RAID 0 and port 5 I have 1 SSD drive used only for OS and Office 2010, and Port 6 I have blue rad dvd burner. If you are going to be installing the OS, all you have to do is create  RAID 0 but don't install the raid drivers unless your primary drive will be that RAID 0 I installed windows on my ssd which is on port 5, and then in windows set up the RAID using the raid application, works like a charm. If you google this, you will find that lots of users are having issues with RAID, has to do something with the chipset, but If you do the way I have it set up, you will be thanking me later. I spent 1 day to figure this out, and trying different methods by not being able to install the OS due to the RAID/SSD configuration.

Cons: Can't get to me fast enough

Pros: I have this product on order and awaiting it's arrival. I have always trusted the ASUS brand as a sturdy platform with which to build off of and plan on pairing this with the Zambezi 8120 Bulldozer.
Comment:
I have read multiple countless reviews of issues on this product and decided to make my own decision on this and not let others sway me. But overall ASUS has been known to drop  some dud products and others spectacular it just depends on research and personal preference as to manufacturer and brand

Have used Asus boards before and love them but this is my first high end board and am already a convert.Using 16GB G-Skill Sniper 1600 and an OCZ Solid 3 SSD and it posted first time without issue and has been running soundly since. The AI suite available in O.S. mirrors many settings in the bios which you can navigate with a mouse (I find this to be really cool!)Comes with Kaspersky and many extras, (cables etc)All this and it looks really cool too.

Cons: no firewire (not that it matters), a bit finicky on the config.

Pros: loads of features, looks great, no issues with memoryUSB 3.0
Comment:
Great board, packaged software is excellent, overclocking one touch feature wasn't super, and the maual stuff was quite tricky but I suspect that is more to do with AMD architecture than anything else.Running my 1100t BE at 4.2GHz No firewire, I only find that irrtating because my case has a front panel connector for it, I don't use any devices for firewire but I don't like the idea that I can't.Still have to rate it 5 stars, can't dock point for not supporting out dated standards.

Cons: - spdif has issues- first 2 ram slots died

Pros: - good overclocker- stable
Comment:
I bought this board to get ready for bulldozer. I was happy to see that it was much faster than my msi 790fx and I was able to break 4.1ghz on my 1055t. The problems started when i hooked up my optical out to my av Receiver. The sound is intermittent and cuts out while playing games and watching movies. There is a thread on this over at ROG forums and there is no solution as of yet. Also my first 2 ram slots just died and I have had to RMA it back to NCIX. Hopefully the new board will be working better but I am still waiting on the Audio issues. I suggest getting the express RMA option just for safety if you are getting this board.

Cons: My 120gb MaxIOPS Vertex 3 SSD occasionally is not seen during post, and then requires a reset to reboot. But from reading, this may be a Vertex issue, not the mobo. Gotta luv new tech ;)

Pros: So many features, you'll likely not use 1/2 of them. Excellent Price for the features packed onOverclocks easily - simple as you want, or go get a PHD on tweaking...everything is adjustable!
Comment:
I am running a 965 x4 u 4.0ghz u stock voltage. I still use the cpu throttling power saving and just did a simple no effort change the multiplier for a 600mhz OC. I'll push the overclocking ability when I get a Bulldozer CPU this fall. I have not tried the auto overclock feature, but have read multiple reviews that it works quite well...Dual 2gb Radeon 6950 gpu's in PCIe slots 1 & 3 to utilize full x16 bandwidth for both cards - this required me to get 2 10cm crossfire ribbon cables from Ebay. With the short stock cables you must use the PCIe 1 & 2 and stay at x16 and x8 for your vid. This combo(video cards in PCIe 1&2) covers the only legacy PCI slot (if anyone cares)It did make roughly 5% difference in game frame rates and is worth the 15.00 for the 2 longer cables.Using PCIe 1&3 also puts space between the 2 video cards drop ping the temp of the #1 card that otherwise starves for air flow. Crossfire and SLI with the hamster wheel coolers are way too close together. I was able to drop  the fan speed 10% to far less ear piercing levels this way too! 16gb (4 x 4gb) corsair vengeance 1866 running fine u 1600 until Bulldozer arrives. 120gb vertex 32tb WD black Caviar HDAsus BR driveAsus dvd driveAll packed into a Haf X case. This is the best featured and best value for a motherboard I have ever purchased. I Strongly recommend this board for any gamers out there. Well laid out too!

Cons: Too many BIOS options, loads of options that you may never need, I'd not recommend this motherboard for people who are building a basic system. make sure you check the QVL for ram, as it's very specific.

Price matched this with another retailer and had it approved. Very glad with that result. First time building my own gaming rig and never been more pleased at the performance boost that I got from my Q6600 2.4Ghz. I have the AMD Phenom II 1090T overclocked to 4Ghz y 1.43V VCore with PowerColor HD5830 (also bought from NCIX last summer). I now run Black Ops & SC2 on all High & Extreme with very smooth frame rates. I'll definitely go with ASUS ROG in the future!
