I loved my Crosshair III motherboard for many years and this seemed like a logical choice when purchasing a new build. I am happy with the features and the design of the build. Very glad they got rid of the strange packaged sound cards and built it into the design of the board. The only feature missing that I loved from the III was the LED indicators for temperature on the MB next to the fan imports. |

Cons: -(Not THAT important but...) no dual ethernet ports.
Pros: -Amazing bios (well... UEFI).-Amazing overclocking abilities.-Great support.-very good power management.-Overclocking is a breeze.-Comes with a cool ROG crossfire and SLI bridge-SupremeFXIII audio card for great audio. Comment:
Originally I expected to open the box and a ton of things would pop out if it (knowing asus with their ROG products) but it was subtle, an easy unboxing including what you need and a little bit of fancy things. It comes with good drivers and an above great audio driver. This is the best AMD motherboard I've ever owned/seen. |

It's an amazing board, and quite possible the best 990FX board on the market. I do love the software it comes with, however I hate how ASUS does not update it. Mainly with Fan Xpert and Fan Xpert2 |

ASUS product and especialy there motherboard are just kick ass product. There R.O.G. series is a must for overclockers dude like me!! I have A Raid setup and two card in SLI and got not any kind of product with it. |

Cons: Had afew issues with the shipped BIOS version, after updated it's been rock solid. Other than that I have no complaints.

Cons: Fan control is okay but not great, three of the six non cpu fan mounts are not controllable without external thermometers and extra adapters. (Speedfan works much better than the asus software but like that software it can only control the cpu fans and three of the six other fan headers) The three adjustable fan headers are all adjusted with one control, severely limiting the usefulness of multiple fan headers. Included software is slow, clunky and way over stylized to no benefit.
