Got this drive and it would read the mini SD cards but not the regular SD cards. It was acting as though no card was inserted at all. Probably a bad connection inside of the reader. I wasn't too impressed with the light weight construction either. But what can one expect for $5? Anyway, I sent it back for a replacement a couple weeks ago. We'll see if the next one has the same problem. |

It was my second different device that wont work with Duo Pro Memory Stick. Duo Pro is the latest memory stick card used mostly for the newer Digital Cameras. I contacted the merchant about this issue and they offered me a choice to send that back with expense at my own by posting a secure delivery -FedEx or UPS with tracking option etc, which would quite logically cost me more than the item's price. |

Not sure if I simply got a bad one, but it would not write to my MicroSD card. This makes it useless for me, as I need to write data to my card, not just read it, and I use MicroSD. Tried both with and without a MicroSD-to-SD adapter. HW switch on the adapter was set to read-write. It seemed to read data fine, but no writing ability. Generic Win error claimed read-only. |

Whats going on? I can't order this product anymore. My brother wants one. He had a fit when he saw mine. I just love the compact size & carry it in my laptop case; could be a great stocking stuffer for Christmas at the low price. Purchased in July 09 and have had no problems. |

I bought this for my wife to download her camera. She carries it in her purse along with her credit card camera. It is much smaller than carrying the cable. She loves it and for the price, can't be beat. |

I see this item is no longer available...too bad for those of you who don't own one because this is the best thing since sliced bread! Small, easy to use and almost every photo card fits in it. |

This card reader reads all my media for a great price. My only minor complaint is that you have to bend the attached USB cable to plug it in. It would have been better if it popped out or rotated 180 degrees instead of just 90. |

Does exactly what you need it to. Plug in and go. Size is great to cause it can fit in a carry case with flash and other cards. well worth the purchase. |

I picked up this little guy after moving to SDHC cards, which my previous card reader couldn't handle. This reader works great for reading all sorts of cards (see main product review for formats). My only criticism (and it's minor) is the cable which connects to the PC seems to come off on a weird angle when plugged in; it seems like it puts a bit of strain on the cable. However, this has not affected performance at all from what I can tell. I would definitely recommend this reader. |

Didn't cost very much, came within expected shipment date, and has great plug-n-play support. It doesn't feel all that inexpensive, but one can tell it's sturdy as their $10.00 investment would shield it. Great buy as well. You want be let down but this product. |

It does what it's supposed to, nothing fancy. |

No bells or whistles: This does exactly as advertised, and it's somewhat flimsy construction is reflected in the price. One unadvertised benefit is that by using a card reader on the end of a flexible cable, the whole unit has some ''give'' if it is knocked or bumped while inserted. It's simply hard to complain about ''quality'' when it does what it's supposed to (for me anyway) and cost less than $10. |

This does what it is supposed to. Unlike the other review that remarks on lack of XD Support, I can't verify as I don't use that card. But, for Micro SD and standard SD Flash cars, it reads and writes just fine. It is a small size which is nice, and the short USB cable tucks nicely into the back. Overall my only complaint is that it just feels like a cheap product, but I only paid $5 for it. |

Installation was simple.. Plug & Play. Tried on XP and Vista. My main use is for 8GB SDHC card, worked no problem. small form factor makes it the size of a thumb drive. no complaints... at this price, i should pick up a few more. |

The website claims that this product works with a long list of cards, including xD. The product packaging shows this also. I have no idea whether most of them are true, but one in particular is not. The reader does NOT work with xD cards. There are a grand total of FOUR slots on this reader. The magic disclaimer (which was printed on the packaging but not on the web description) is ''Some cards may require adapter.'' This is confusing at best and deliberately misleading at worst. Thanks for nothing! |
Does what it says at a bargain price. Build quality looks OK but not remarkable. But at $4.99, what more could you ask?
