MicroSD slot, lots of other slots, clean looking face, good price. Super vibrant red power light, even when the machine is powered off. I happen to know that my laptop has a energy cord plugged in. I also know that my pc is powered on courtesy of the case's power LED and the fans running and the fact that the keyboard and mouse make points happen on the screen. I don't require a blinding red LED reminding me. A couple minutes to open the housing and some wire cutters on the LED leads fixed that difficulty correct quick. Great price, lots of compatibility. If you don't mind the blinding red light getting Often on, or if you're comfy disabling it, then buy this factor currently.

Inexpensive, reads cards, gives a different USB port, very good cable to attach to USB header. The red light is Generally on if the personal computer is on. It is sort of difficult to get SD cards into the thing (tight), but it reads them okay. The printing on the frontbezel is tiny, producing it specifically tough to read if your personal computer lives beneath a desk, etc. It works - that's about it.

I can't comment on its functionality at this time When it arrived it has some sort of plastic attached to its sides. It just about appears like a plastic bag was melted to it, I don't want to set up it with this attached to it due to the fact it could get hot. It is a discomfort to pull it off but soon after I do there doesn't appear to be any physical challenges with it. This device may perform perfectly but you have a likelihood at finding a single with this plastic attached to it which you will need to take off.

It is a card reader it has a lot of solution, long cable and fits quite properly / flush in just about any case you can think of. None that I can believe of CARD READER!

Wide range of card support, straightforward to set up, cheap. Immediately after about a year of owning this issue it's starting to get flaky. It will regularly quit working in the middle of transferring files, which tends to make pulling photographs from my camera obscenely time consuming.

It performs completely with my W7 technique, for the most component. It feels sturdy, and looks excellent in my case. My SD slot isnt operating. The light will light up when inserted, but windows wont recognize it. This appears to be my only dilemma. Ive tested the USB, mSD, XD, and MS slots and they all function totally. Its just my SD slot.

It supports all the cards that I don't use! Fitment is genuinely tight. You need to have to use forcepower and be dead on accurate when you try to stick a card in the reader. Only lets you use a single card at a time. I don't like the truth that its incredibly shallow. A compact flash only goes in about 1Ǟth its size and that's it. I guess that may well just be a private preference.

It's inexpensive. It functions. Didn't lock in place really well. Didn't match my USB slot on my motherboard with no a little modification. For only ผ, you can't be also picky. This card reader worked fine once I got it installed. I actually like how a device icon only shows up below my personal computer when there's a card in a slot. Otherwise, it hides in the background. This was a plus for me. It seriously didn't appear like it fit effectively in the 3.5" floppy slot in my case. Doesn't really look to lock in spot. The only genuine complaint I had was with the USB 2. connector on it. It did NOT fit into the slot on my motherboard. I had to take a file and shave down the sides of the connector a small bit. Very odd. But as soon as I did, it connected fine and I've had no problems with it.

Affordable, functional There is a red light that is on consistently, unless the computer is turned off. Not a real challenge, but can be slightly annoying. I honestly haven't applied it that considerably. Tested to see if it performs, and it did. I only need to have it for occasional photo <-> sd/mmc card stuff. Functions for my purposes.

Rapidly reads, when it worked. The CF card slot is to shallow, and it fits the card poorly. Consequently, it is quite effortless to bend connector pins when trying to insert the card, which happened to me inside a handful of hours.

Inexpensive The red LED is extremely vibrant and can not be shut off. The slot did not line up with the SD card reader and I have to move the card about to get it in. I might need to break the faceplate off, re-align it, and re-glue. It does function, though. Might be worth spending a couple of dollars additional for higher good quality. For the red LED beacon, I took a piece of black electrical tape, place it against a cardboard box, and punched a modest hole in it with a paperclip. I cut around the hole to form a tiny square of tape, and placed it over the LED. Now it is just a tiny power light - not at all annoying. The tape is just about invisible.
