Blazing fast reads.Worked nicely out of the box with my setup.Nice case. Solid High priced. You may be superior off with the Corsair F128 if you want to save some income. Especially if you don't have SATA three. The Corsair F128 will do quicker writes then the P3. I purchased this to promptly pair with my current corsair F128 drive in Raid . Later I plan on getting yet another P3 128 to go in a new SATA three box in RAID . The P3 did what it was supposed to but was limited by my slow SATA two controller and my F128. The bottom line is my setup is blazing rapid with ATTO I benched 540 MB/s Reads and 420 MB/s Writes in raid . With a little diverse setup it would be significantly faster.

This drive hauls the mail! Single P3-128 ATTO bench: 219 M/s max write - 431 M/s max read. Kinda high-priced, but (insert old timey monetary assistance). Make sure your drive is properly formatted, aligned, and AHCI is enabled in BIOS before installing OS.

Amazing drive, as lengthy as it doesn't fail. Corsair assistance has recognized that these are having an problem, and stated that their techs require to figure out what the problem is. At this point it would be superior to wait until they discover the difficulty and fix it just before you get. I have constantly been a incredibly huge fan of Corsair, and treated effectively by them. On the other hand, in this situation is a major exception. I bought this drive on 1ቸቧ, it failed on threeቲቧ, RMA'd quickly, it is now 4ቧቧ and they nevertheless have not shipped out a replacement. I'm quite glad that I did not rely on this drive alone, or I would have lost a ton of production time, specially contemplating that they nevertheless have not shipped out a replacement yet. Manufacturer Response:There is no situation with the P3 series drives. Maybe there has been a misunderstanding. Also, please contact Customer Service at the hyperlink below to verify your RMA status.External Link(s): Corsair Get in touch with Web page|

These drives in Raid- yielded ATTO at...Write 424MB/sRead 940 MB/s None I took a single egg off due to the fact Newegg shipped 1 of these open box. thinking about all the tricky return policies and the price you spend for a SSD I never ever expect an open box/open package electronic piece of equipment. This is disappointing.

Extremely rapidly and fun to use on the Computer. Failure Rate The failure rate on this is very high. I've been working with Pc drives for 15 years and can spot when a thing is incorrect with the solution itself. Regardless of the RMA and Warranty from Corsair there appears to be an abnormally high failure/return rate on these SSD drives. The drive is fantastic performance wise and I'll almost certainly get a Corsair response to this but producing faulty merchandise for the general public to beta test has turn out to be the norm for OEMs and it demands to quit. A lot of of us rely on the products we get and anticipate them to "just operate". I was seriously hoping I wasn't going to have an problem with this item but it failed just like all the other posts I've noticed. However I can not return this item so it is going to get sold. I need to have stuck with my original research and bought an Intel. Corsair tends to make wonderful memory merchandise but one thing is just missing with the SSD. Manufacturer Response:We're incredibly sorry that you have had a failure with your SSD. We'll be happy to replace it for you.External Link(s): Corsair RMA Link|

Rapidly drive. No complications loading Win7 64bit. All programs installed on this drive operate super rapidly. Extremely minimal lag times opening new programs even although playing videos while converting other videos. Love this drive. SATA III Price. Would enjoy to see these drives come down in price tag a small more. I use this to run all my programs including my OS. I have a 60GB SATA II SSD that I use for placing video files that I am converting. The two perform with each other very nicely and quite rapidly.

On Sata three Sandy Bridge board atto scores 421mb read and 217 writes.(Above advertised specs) Tested with OS on the drive!Comes with two.5" adapter.New generation marvell controller-(Same as new Crucial/Micron C400/M4 not yet released)Corsair custom firmware with extremely aggressive garbage collection really should be superior for RAID with out having to be concerned about trim. Newer 25nm nand, still no verdict yet as to how this affects durability of new ssds due to the fact 25nm nand is rated with significantly less cell life than previous gen 34nm.

Cons: None so far, fantastic drive

Pros: Very fast, even running on my SATA2 connection

Bought about 2 months ago and I have had zero problems. Very fast, and it's even running at half speed on my SATA2 mobo. I have only filled about 90 gigs, but the extra space is always nice to have.Would recommend to anyone looking for a good price/performance ratio.

Used this as system drive in new build and really notice the difference over my older platter based SATA 500GB. Am still using non-SSD for data and storage drives. Also happy to have picked this model with the Marvel controller as I wasn't stung by the SandForce controller problems that affected other drives.I was also able to get this on a price match with NCIX so happily saved some dollars on the purchase as well.

Cons: -price-writes suffer a bit

Pros: -very fast-read speeds are incredible

I've had it for a week, and using it as OS drive with some apps and a few games. It's lightning quick. Much better at reads then writes. Bechmarked it to 350mb/s read, 205 write. It's easily detected in bios and in windows recognizes it's an ssd, no need to tweak anything. I paid 229 after mail in rebate so I think it's a fair deal, 299 is a bit much.

Cons: -None

Pros: -FAST-Easy to install-Better than Sandforce-Better than OCZ products-Did I mention FAST?
Comment:
Ok so I bought 2 of the new 16 chip design OCZ Vertex 2 SSDs and I honestly wasn't that satisfied with their performace. So I decided to blow some more money and I took a chance with Corsair. Let me start by saying I have NEVER owned any memory solutions by Corsair, all of the RAM, USB Sticks, etc I have ever purchase have been from OCZ. After my experience with the two Vertex 2 drives I pruchased I feel that I wasted my money and now I wish I would have bought 2 of these instead.I put this as my main (boot) drive and I now use the OCZ drives to store games, extra applications, etc. Honestly even installing Windows 7 went much faster with this drive when compared to the OCZ drives. When I installed Windows 7 on the OCZ drives it took 17 minutes. On this drive I was able to install Windows 7 and be at the start screen in 8 MINUTES!!!! I simply cannot believe the speed of this drive. It is FAST. I will never buy another product from OCZ, from now on it's Corsair all the way!

Cons: Cost.

Pros: Blindingly fast. Easy to install.
Comment:
My first experience with SSD so I decided to pull the stops out and get a SATA 6BG version. This means I can't compare to SATA 3GB models but the speed of this drive is just silly quick. Windows boots in seconds, Visual Studio 2010 boots in 2-3 seconds. Just a shame its that much more expensive than the previous gen but I guess that's to be expected.
