Was easy to install, no changes to bios required on the 3 year old laptop. I don't notice any measurable speed increase, but the laptop only has 2GB of ram. The silence of an SSD is great for a laptop. Wish I took the plunge years ago.

I use it my HTPC and only have to install Windows and xbmc on it. All my media is on the network.Boots from nothing to XBMC fully loaded in 15 seconds.
