2GB 800 x2 for ์It functions No heat spreader, so the RAM runs hot. I knew about this when I purchased it, so it is no surprise. XP only supports 3GB of RAM, so I only can use 3.25 GB of my 4GB.

These are excellent chips even even though it doesn't come with heat sinks, I can often use the heat sinks from my earlier rams. Bad delivery strategy. It takes forever for DHL smartmail to hook up with USPS then wait for USPS to provide to my location even though I am only 1 state away. Said item was in New Jersey and I waited 4 days to get them.

im using a e8500 on a gigabyte ep45-ud3p. had four gigs prior to.. of these sticks. and just bought two additional sticks for a total of 8 gigs.essential makes excellent RAM. just slapped em in and didnt have to mess with them either time, when technique was 1st constructed and now adding the 2 sticks)these sticks are a lot more steady than the larger value fancy (with lights etc) sort.. more compatible, and have a warranty. none. i see minor adjustments. not as well substantially from 4 to eight gigs RAM, on win7 64 bit. but what i like is becoming capable to disable the paging file (virtual memory) :)all in all i woulda accomplished it sooner or later. those empty ram slots looked lonely :(

JEDEC Typical RAM. You've got to use JEDEC compliant RAM on any board that can not overvolt. I created the mistake of buying OCZ Platinums and they expected my board (ECS G45T-M2) to be capable to overvolt which it couldn't do. So, I went attempted and correct: Essential.Cruicial memory time and time once more has been the absolute most steady "generic" RAM (JEDEC std and no heat sinks) I've purchased. I use no less than Crucial for any Computer that calls for generic RAM simply because of it's consistant reliability. None I at present use two kits of this RAM on my ECS G45T-M2 running Windows Vista Ultimate as a host OS and two Windows Server 2008 Enterprise guest Virtual Machines by way of VirtualBox (all legal OSs). Obtaining 8GB of one hundred% trusted Crucial RAM carrying out fairly demanding function is worth every single penny. I can effortlessly prepare for my classes (I'm an MCT) with no obtaining to wait for paging requests to finish up.I can't say adequate good things about Critical memory.

Operates effectively for the cost and fairly rapid with unlocked Sempron 140 program. Totally free Newegg shipping is not a bargain if you need to have the order quickly. DHL sent the order hundreds of miles out of the way from the location (which took several days), then turned it more than to USPS. Could have just been sent by express mail and gotten it right here quicker. Yes, it arrived within the 4-7 days advertised but issues got right here a lot faster in the days when Newegg applied UPS.

operates in single channel mode doesn't function in dual channel mode each and every stick performs by itself, but pc won't boot when both are installed, MB is gigabyte ga-m55plus-s3g with latest BIOS flashed, tried slots 1ư, and then threeƲ with very same result, and tried adjusting dram voltage up the line with no good results either, anyone have any recommendations? Poor overview really indicates my general knowledge with this RAM. Newegg has been fantastic otherwise.

100% Stable, simply performs Noticeably slow than CAS5 memory When purchased I did think the difference involving CAS6 and CAS5 memory produced a complete lot of difference...and it genuinely doesn't. But, I can notice the difference now. Not saying this memory is negative in any way...its not. Its wonderful memory from a trusted name. I just wish it was CAS5 for that tiny additional speed when converting music and video into to formats.

I used the newegg memory configurator to discover this ram for my motherboard as the memory i had ahead of was not working incredibly well, and it performs quite well. I do not use a 64bit os so i can not quite get complete use out of this ram. really great deal for the cost

There are two varieties of RAM I normally purchase, Important being one particular of them. Quite trusted all the time. This buy just upgraded my program to 6gigs of RAM. No problems out of the packaging, or slightly OCing them. None so far. Would have been good with a heatsink on them. But eh you can't have anything.

Fantastic value for wonderful overall performance. It is only DDR2 and 800mhz, but who can really beat the price tag? There is in my opinion a negligible difference as most folks seldom max out their memory bandwidth anyhow. None that I can think of.

Vital brand name is backed with eggscellent warranty!I purchased three kits and all six modules mem-tested completely.Meets standard voltage and timing specifications so it does not demand BIOS adjustments like "extreme" or "gamer" memory. DDR2 rates have risen from their peak lows years ago, so I wait for sales before generating these purchases. This is my preferred memory brand when the price is OK.

None Junk I purchased four sticks of this memory for a high end media server. 1 stick was poor out of the box. New egg created me return two mainly because that is how they are packaged. They never shipped me new ones just gave me a credit. OK. So I ordered new ones. Now more than the previous handful of months I have had three go undesirable. I took them all out and bought Kingston. So far so fantastic.
