Comparatively low cost way to add 8 GB of RAM to a server. Failed soon after a year and a half. BIOS test failed one stick, other stick started causing OS errors. Server RAM need to be lasting longer than this.

Great cost on great RAM. Performs perfectly in a heavily-employed Dell PE 2950 III operating VMware ESX 4.. Even the blister pack was uncharacteristically easy to open. Arrived so promptly I wasn't prepared yet to install it! ;)

Great cost, rapid high good quality ram whilst it operates. Failing right after a year. I've purchased about 12 sticks of this for a number of servers over the past 2 years. I have a number of units that are presently failing which isn't good. Taking production gear offline is constantly a recipe for issues. Desktop memory is prone to failure, but server ram shouldn't be dropping off beneath steady-state operation immediately after only a year or so.

Higher reliability at a competitive value. None This set went in an Asus RS160-E4/PA4 six months ago to power 7 xen VE's. No issues beneath constant heavy use in that time. I just bought an additional pair for the very same server to add a number of additional VE's.

We ordered a dell poweredge 2950 III which had 4GB to start off with running mysql with sphinx for fulltext looking on much more than 40 million records. For these of you familiar with database FTI looking, specifically on that a lot of records, you know how crucial memory is for INNODB and MYISAM for huge indexes (about 20GB of indexes total). The memory worked nicely and server overall performance jumped immediately, in particular due to the fact we had been able to move some of the larger indexes completely into memory which we were physically unable to do prior to this upgrade.28GB total memory on a dell poweredge III 2950 operating gentoo amd64 (dual quad core Intel xeon three.16Ghz) None so far

Swift, Low-cost, and gives me 16gb to function with virtual machines - looks exactly like the HP suggested ram. Newegg did not specify the timing of the ram. Prices on newegg for this ram modify really frequently. Operates with HP Workstations xw6400 and xw6600 - saved our organization 10k in cost (ordering by way of hp we had the quote of ~񘛘 for 16GB ram - 4x4gb, and that is just crazy for 5 workstations).

Installed on Dell Precision 690 WKS with 2 Quad xeon's - operating 2008 Hyper-V. Operates good. Helps with operating mulitple VM Servers. Nevertheless costs alot. Would like to get 3 far more sets. ࿀GB ram for VM's) lower the expense so I can obtain much more.

Installed in a Sunfire X4150 Intel Xeon based server. Ran memtest86+ overnight with ECC enabled, and no errors, three passes. 32GB of this in 2 separate servers, and no issues. 4GB dimms are the sweet spot for maximizing RAM vs $ Nothing to put here, low-cost, dependable, compatiable, lifetime warranty RAM Save your income upgrading from the manufacturer. Fantastic RAM! Popped it in my Dell Poweredge 1950 that I use to run CSS and TF2 servers for Lan parties and did a 12 pass memory check. Came out squeaky clean. Will definitely purchase once again when its time for a different upgrade :) None! Good RAM for the cost and I enjoy the anodized blue color.
