Cons: - Touch detection is buggy.- Can't customize per application.- Pen could be more comfortable.- Nibs wear out way too fast.

Pros: - High quality, great price.- Very similar to Intuos3.- Can customize all buttons globally.- Touch is neat, when it works.- Pen attaches to tablet for storage.- Extra nibs for the pen.- Comes with Photoshop Elements.
Comment:
Pressure and sensitivity-wise, the Bamboo Pen & Touch is identical to a 6x4 Intuos3 minus a few buttons and tilt detection. How many would actually use tilt though, or even notice it? I've owned an Intuos2, Intuos3, and Intuos4 and rarely ever do. It's hard to go wrong for the quality of what you get and the price you get it at. If it weren't for the cons it has, the biggest being a toss up between flaky touch control and nibs wearing out too fast, I would give it five stars without hesitation.

Cons: - Takes some getting used to

Pros: - Simple out of box install- Comes with Photoshop Elements- Extra pen tips

Bought this for a friend. He loves his Photoshop. I tested it out to make sure it worked. Plugged it in, installed the drivers and hopped onto Paintbrush. The tablet is very responsive. I had a bit of an issue getting to the exact point on the screen that I wanted. It takes practice I guess. I was a lot of fun though. Hope this thing works out for my friend.

Cons: Doesn't come with a pouch.

Pros: Inexpensive good quality tablet, solid build quality.
Comment:
Bought one for my girlfriend and she's completely in love with it, went with the touch edition because it was in stock; she doesn't really use that feature, but sometimes it's interesting to fool around a bit and try new stuff out.Would definitely recommend as an entry-level tablet.

Cons: None i can think of...

Pros: A gigantic touch pad and a tablet to boot!
Comment:
After getting a bamboo tablet, I found it quite annoying to constantly switch back and fourth between a mouse and a tablet. The tablet was too slow for me for moving the mouse around the screen, but great for precision work. With the touch integrated into the tablet, I can do my precise work with the tablet and navigate around with ease with just my finger - no more moving my arm to find the mouse.

Cons: Touch interface doesn't work so wellMultitouch very laggy and not very responsiveSide buttons not well-labeled

Pros: Good pen technologyEraser is greatThird and fourth buttons accessible and usefulPressure sensitivity works greatReassignability of side buttons greatIncluded photoshop elements just what an entry level device such as this needs
Comment:
Overall, this is a great drawing device but I would not recommend it as a mouse replacement the pen's pressure sensitivity is excellent and the eraser on the back works very well. WACOM is well known for being very good in this regard and they do not disappoint. However, the touch sensitivity and reliability of it to recognize gestures is fuzzy at best and at worst, just totally screws up all the time. I recommend buying just the 'pen' model, as they are essentially the same and I ended up just turning off the touch most of the time anyway. Hopefully, a new driver or firmware release will fix it, but I have seen no such thing yet. I have used this tablet on both PC in photoshop essentials (included) and on Mac with sketchbook pro (not included, but an excellent piece of software.

Cons: Have gone through the nibs pretty fast, size can be an issue for those not used to smaller tablet

Pros: Price, reliability, size, sensitivity

I purchased this at the end of "09" and can say I do not regret it. This is my third tablet (2 others being non Wacom products) and I wish I had purchased a Wacom sooner!I am comic illustrator that has decided to go more digital and after seeing DC comic artist Freddie Williams II http://www.freddieart.com/ work only in digital I wanted to try the same thing!WHat you get: * Bamboo Pen & Touch tablet * Bamboo pen * Quick Start guide * Installation CD (includes driver software, interactive tutorial, and user's manual) * Software DVD (containing Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 7.0 Win/6.0 Mac and Nik® Color Efex Pro™ 3.0 WE3) The pen is good and you can program it for sensitivity through Photoshop or Manga Debut (also in XP) You may have to do this as I tend to put too much pressure on the "replaceable" nibs (sold here at NCIX) and wear them down quickly...I don't use the touch surface much as a replacement for my mouse but it works pretty well. You get a disk with the tablet that takes you through the different finger motions for this application...You also get Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 which is a decent little program for touching up your photos...All in all a good starter tablet for amateur and pro alike...

Cons: Wow, does the nib wear out quickly, I've been using it for a month and a half, and I have to replace the nib already. Good thing that it comes with extra nibs.

Pros: Tablet function works really well: it's precise, feels almost like pencil&paper, and it's nice to have an eraser on the pen.
Comment:
I had a genius pensketch tablet before, a 6x8" model. I got the genius tablet over wacom graphire 4, thinking that wacom is smaller and more expensive. However, after trying the Bamboo, was I ever wrong. Despite the smaller drawing surface, this is much better than the pensketch.Highly recommended for beginners and pros alike.

Cons: Not for the professional.

Pros: Excellent quality that I've come to expect from Wacom.
Comment:
I've been using this tablet for a couple days now (hand writing, drawing and general design) and for the price I'm really impressed. However if you're planning to use this in a professional design setting, I would recommend getting a slightly bigger one.

Cons: Needs some tweaking for dual screen (ie pen only on one screen) Dabble in menus and found what I needed

Pros: Sleek looking, very accurate
Comment:
For the price and the bundled software (Photoshop elements) its a very good buy.Strokes vary in thickness depending of the pressure applied allowing for easy and very precise drawing. The hand gestures (using it as a touchpad) make web browsing very easy.Would not recommend for playing games (other than SOlitaire)
