Fantastic, quiet modular power provide. For the dollars, I don't feel that this can be beat. I am making use of this in a SLI setup and haven't run into any issues. I did have to RMA my 1st shipment. The box was the one for this model (CUG-700B) but essentially contained a 600-watt (CUG-600B) PSU. If I didn't have to study the serial quantity off of the energy-provide for a rebate submission, I might not have been conscious. The box was factory sealed so I have to assume the challenge originated at CoolMax and not NewEgg. NewEgg was very prompt with the replacement.

Quiet, Unassuming, completely modular, Properly packaged, excellent price with rebate, Would be good if modular plugs have been failsafe... was underpowering my 12v CPU connector at initially, plug was not seated firmly in PSU. Cables are soooo thick, but that's bring about they're excellent. Believed the rebate would never come, but it completely did! Newegg can't be beat.

little sufficient to match effectively into a micro ATX case.has lots of cables to assistance a lot of components.appears to remain pretty cool beneath load due to its huge fan.manages to keep fairly quite even though being able to supply lots of energy. cables are a bit stiff, but they are still uncomplicated adequate to function with and are greater than the non modular option. as lengthy as this supply meets your specifications, you can't go incorrect with it.

I'm operating a mid-high end system and this has been a dream. It was modular so installation was a breeze. Can\'t go wrong. None Possibly the wattage isn't super high adequate for the highest end systems but it definitely is great.

So far this item has been serving my program extremely nicely. Really no complaints however for this item. Its been powering my system very reliably, although with the new onslaught of hot weather headed our way, it is going to prove its metal this summer season. Its May possibly, and we have currently been averaging 90 degree days for the past week here in Silicon Valley. The other particular person who stated the connectors were a small on the loose side is correct. I just applied a tiny automotive technologies to the scenario and the problem is solved. Two points, a tiny di-electric silicon grease designed for O2 sensor connectors, and a pair of needle-nose pliers fixed them proper up. The grease supplies a far better contact surface and is conductive, the pliers tightened the barbs so they would not back out. If given the decision, I will most likely acquire another a single of these for a reserve on a future construct.

No problems. Quiet. Modular style. On-line rebate type has a box for the serial number that is one particular character/digit shy of the actual number. Shall I trim the very first or last? Maybe I'll get my rebate, possibly not.

Extremely nice PSU. The modular cables are quite good and easy to bend and contort. The main energy cable is extended enough that i can use it in my bottom mount case. Reachs the MOBO plug with slack to spare. Absoluetly None....buy this.

Great cost w/ the rebate. I haven't truly got to use it however, but all the reviews I read appear to indicate it'll carry out as nicely as I want. When I opened the box to get the SN for the rebate, the label on the unit stated it was the 600 watt version, when the outside packaging had mentioned 700. Sent it back to Newegg and they rma'd it correct swift. Props for Newegg. 5000+ BE, two GB Corsair, (soon to be) 700 watt psu, Radeon HD2600

this is a extremely good psu that will suffice for most high finish gaming rigs, it appears particularly good with a sleek black finish, i know i know the images look silver but its black. this is a pretty little psu and doesn't seem to take up much space in my antec 1200.Acquire THIS desires much more six and eight pin connectors, two is sufficient for 2 9800gt's that i have but some people may possibly want much more. this is great, i was skeptical at very first but this is properly spent cash, also the packaging is really nice and it is well secured so you wont have issues with shipping damage, Acquire THIS!!!!

SLI certified, All the cables are modular (including the 20Ʋ), Good massive fan in the suitable spot (the bottom), Gold plated terminals (yes I looked), good lengthy PCI-e cables, quiet (quieter than the Antec sp500 it replaced). And ideal of all good stable voltages. The energy cable is sort of smaller (light guage). Other than that, none. The cables are a tiny stiff, heavier guage wiring than most other PSU's Ive observed, so Its kinda wierd that the energy provide cable is a light guage.

Had this for two years now and it hasn't had a problem. The laptop's been by way of a number of upgrades and repairs, and this PSU has been the only thing that I haven't looked at with suspicion. Does what it's supposed to. Not shiny. Running a 8800 GTS 640 with high-intensity games (Crysis, DoW2, and so on). Also operating 2 HDDs, 2 CD/DVD drives, card reader, floppy drive :D , Soundmax, wireless network card, and 4 sticks of RAM. I'm glad I don't spend my power bills.

Seems to perform fairly nicely. Powers my 9950, 2x8800 Ultra,4g of ram just fine. I adore modular style. Cables are way to stiff for my tastes. The second pci-e cable keeps popping out of the PSU.

Great functionality and rather to be 700 wts. Does not have an eight or 6ư pins cable, watch out if you're hunting for that. The only eight pins ƔƲ) provide in the box is for the motherboard. Fortunate me mainly because my eight pin's card is supporting also PCIe six pins power, certified by the manufacturer by way of this model and is operating OK. Excellent modular cables, use only what you need!!!

Extremely quiet opperating and the thing pumps out energy without a hitch. I love modular cables. I will Never ever go back to a normal energy supply following working with a modular cabling system. Built "upside down"? The fan goes on the bottom into the rest of the case, okay...that's typical for the normal Power Provide on the best variety of case. But the "Coolmax" logo is hidden by the motherboard tray (I guess this wouldn't be a huge deal if I had a clear case). And the layout sticker on the back which shows you what just about every plug is is upside down. It's not like I could turn this proper-side-up due to the fact then the screw holes wouldn't line up in the right spots on the case. These are all minor even though. I don't think you could beat a deal like this. It's quiet, power effecient, and modular. Did I mention I love modular cables? 'Cause I do! Rebate course of action seems straight forward as well.

It's got an intake fan on the bottom of the unit. Has effortless to configure cables so you can use what you need to have and leave the rest in the box. If you place it into a dark case, you can't see the connectors to plug in the cables. 700 watts is a lot of compact flourescent light bulbs. I'm sure my electric bill is gonna go up.
