I don't know what to think of these earphones. If you get them positioned just right they are the best sounding earphones I have ever listened to but it is something of a hassle getting them positioned. The over the ear clip does it's job of holding things in position for the best sound once you get them adjusted properly. However the ear clips hook on to everything. The worst part is the wiring, it has a cloth cover it is stiff kinks real easy and you can never get it straightened out. When you wear these things the wiring is a twisted up mess. There are good reasons why this model has been discontinued. I have always wanted the sample how a Klipsch earphones sound and as I said above they are the best I have ever heard. It is for this reason I will purchase one of the improved earphone models. I feel I got good value for my money as I was able to audition an otherwise expensive set Klipsch earphones. |

Of course this is only my opinion, but these were Immediately irritating! From trying to get into the multi-layered packaging to the complicated fitting procedure, these are just not worth the time or money. I purchased them based on the Klipsch name and renouned speaker quality but these fall way short of their haritage (in my opinion). Unless you have these jammed into your ear they have NO bass at all. Everytime I tried fitting them the left ear bud went dead. Very uncomfortable for me, hard to use and dissapointing performance. Sending back ASAP. |

I bought these to use with a zune player. After months of experementing with all the gel inserts and specific placement. I can now warn you that these are crap! The included zune headphones are way better (not so good) than these |

If properly fitted these produce excellent sound. None of the stock ear gels fit me ideally. Etymotic gels work really well, though. I have tested them using test tones and a variety of music genres. They reproduce well down to 20Hz, and up as high as I can hear. (At my age, tones above 14kHz are theoretical at best.) They are good enough to really show up poorly done recordings. Acoustic and electronic instrumentation are both handled well. A little tweaking of EQ settings does wonders. SRS WOW settings will produce overdrive if overused. It's all in the fit. |

The headphones are nice - light weight with a good sound. The ear pieces keep the phones from falling out of your ear while running. Very comfortable. At $40, they are a good value too |

These are able to follow the intricacies of fine music, classical genre. they're also my choice for vocals like Barbra recorded before she lost an octave. Really a nice set - these live up to the Klipsch reputation very well. |

These have a great sound quality once you get the correct fit in your ear. If there is any space between your ear canal and the rubber the sound especially the low end drops right off. I used these on my last plane ride to and from Singapore and was very happy with them. The only drawback is that your ears do get alittle tired of the plugs in the ear canal. You also loose the seal when eating. Other than that these are great performing ear buds. I have since used them while running and found that if you get them fit properly they stay in place very nicely. The dual cone rubber insert works best for me. I hope this helps..... |

This was a great value for a discontinued item. However, if they don't fit your ears the sound is extremely tinny. When I finally got them to fit, y ears hurt and heaven forbid I move... they go back to the tinny sound. The cloth covering on the wires transmit every movement on your clothing into the earphones. Klipsch customer service was not very helpful when I asked for support on this product. Thank you for your return policy. I thought I have to eat the price of these; I could not use them! |

I own 2 pair and bought 3 as gifts this Christmas. Read the instructions that make it clear that the better the seal of the ear the better the sound and bass. If you want a loud, distorted bass (many people are only used to this) these are not for you. These are the only ear buds I know of that handle tympani well - not distorted or non-existent. Read the instructions. Sound is clean with a degree of separation I never thought possible in ear buds. Best construction of any ear buds I've seen. I purchased a pair for an audiophile friend who owns Shure but preferred these. |

I got 2 sets for my son and me. The sound range is great with my Sansa e260, on my computer, and with my home stereo equalizer. My son loves his as well. It takes just a few minutes to figure which size earbud works best and then you are good to go. I could never go back to cheapies again. |

I had intended to use these for a band I'm playing in that requires earbud style headphones. They look nice enough but they have NO Bass what so ever no matter what ear cup you try to use. The spec's say they go as low as 12 hz RIGHT not even close. I have a pair I got from blockbuster called hype that had much better overall response and only cost $5 but are not pro grade so. In closing I would like to say DO NOT BUY THESE! UNLESS YOU LIKE TINNY HIGHS AND NO LOW END WHAT SO EVER. |

I ride a Harley almost every weekend. These are the best in-ear headphones I have used. They way they fit around the ear and in the ear is perfect whether you wear a helmet ot not. This being cold weather season I wear a full-face helmet which used to pull my old ear pieces out when I put it on. These stay in place and provide briilliant sound. When wearing a half helmet they still fit perfectly and cut out most interference noise. If they had in in-line volume control like the much cheaper Skull Candy - they would be perfect for me. |

I got these in the mail just a few days ago, and I am very happy with them. The only thing I have to comment on is the cord can be a little noisey if cord is worn in the front but it works great behind the head. |

Just got these in the mail, excellent sound quality. Will use them on motorcycle with Zune, they cancel out the wind and outside noise. I have hard to fit ear holes(very small), with the choice of ear fit sizes works out perfect. Excellent buy, highly reccommend them. |

I was going to return these until i found and ordered the comply memory foam replacement ear tips. what an improvement, getting a better fit,more bass and comfortable to wear now,i just wish Klipsch had included the tx-100 comply ear tips with the custom 1 headphones!!!too bad i spent another $20 to get the sound i was expecting from these. |

I bought it from TD a month back - the best sound that I have heard ever - Klipsch knows how to deliver sound and I paid 49.00 for Custom 1 - compared to Custom 2 and 3 - this is the best bang for the buck - I use it with my computer, my iPhone while running (dosent come off from the ear - great design). It is just a great buy. |
I've always been a huge Klipsch fan. So when I found these on here for the current price, I couldn't pass them up. I absolutely love them, they sound very good and I love the fact that they are noise canceling. I put them in and I can ignore the outside world and rock out. They seem to be made of high quality materials and should last for a very long time.
