I cant even hear it at all.Moves lots of air, even when its silent. None so far. Really good to use as a 120mm CPU fan for some thing like an HTPC

A lot of airflow at 12 volts. At 7 volts, there is noticeable pressure and it is really quiet. Not silent at 12 volts. If you can manage the voltage going to the fans, working with motherboard, a resistor (like on in a fan controller), these fans are decently silent. Otherwise, stay away from them if you don't like noise. I bought two and neither are silent at 12 volts. They do push a lot of air.

These fans are amazingly quiet and come with rubber mounting hardware. Not the most powerful fans, but they nevertheless push enough to be efficient with no developing air noise. You can connect these with three pin, four pin or molex. Sleeved bearings vs ball bearings may possibly mean shorter life-span. Replaced the CPU and case fans with these. Combined with a SeaS**** PSU and a practically inaudible GTX460 vidcard, I now have silent HTPC.

Extremely advised at silentpcreview.com. I have it paired with a Zalman Fan Mate two cranked down to the lowest voltage, and it is entirely silent. Taking off an egg simply because it's not entirely silent at its stock speed. This may well not be fair due to the fact I'm not positive if there are any fans out there that are entirely silent at stock voltage (and if there have been, folks would possibly complain that it is underpowered). But I nonetheless believe it's kind of lame that I require to spend an added Ű dollars on a fan controller just to get a fan that is really silent. Overall, I am satisfied with this obtain and would not hesitate to buy this fan again.

120mm, Quiet, black and white, four and three pin connectors. I only have area for 3. I have 3 of these connected to my Nexus Clodius case and I can't hear them. They are extremely quiet on silent mode. Two of the fans I have owned for over a year and are nonetheless runing silent. To definitely take advantage of their quietness you will require a fan controller since they do get loud operating at complete force.

These are quiet, I just can't hear anything. Quieter than my noctua cpu fans. I paired a couple of these up with a nexus 850w psu, and now my tivo's really hard drive 10ft away is louder than my complete computer! I couldn't use the fan guards and filters I was using before simply because of the silicone fasteners, but I consider it's worth the tradeoff.

Low noise levels at complete energy and comes with four silicone mounting pins. Somewhat low CFM rating. There are other fans obtainable that move far more air at the similar noise level. I couldn't come across any instructions in or on the box describing how to install with the silicone mounts. You have to go to the internet website here for a diagram: http://www.nexustek.nl/NXS-nexus-sfm1000_silicone_fan_mounts.htm

Installed 3 of them for leading exhaust on my Corsair 800D, I was a tiny concerned about how significantly noise adding 3 fans would be but they aren't even noticable. The rubber, anti-vibration mounts are great and hold the fans in completely, seeking good in my case as well! Must come with screws as well if people do not want to use the rubber mounts, but your case ought to've come with plenty of these.

quiet operation, isolated mounting hardware, moves sufficient air none whatsoever I did a lot of study ahead of deciding on this 120mm fan to replace my 92mm. I needed to move far more air into the case to resolve the underpressure that drew in dust about all seams and openings, and I decide I may possibly as properly discover some thing quiet, also, given that I currently knew from encounter that the 92mm was the loudest fan in my method beneath most situations. I can't even hear this fan operating while I can see and feel it, and even with an adapter to attach this to the existing 92mm hole, it moves enough air to overpressurize my case now.

Dead silent. I installed two of these in my media cabinet with wonderful good results. I wish they moved a tiny additional air, but 1 is enough to maintain my xbox 360 chilly. It's commonly a tradeoff you have to decide on: airflow or silence. These fans are very quiet for how a lot air they move.

Relatively quiet. Any one complaining this is a loud or noisy fan need to have exceptionally sensitive ears or their Computer is on their desk.Painless install with the supplied noise dampening mounts. Both 3pin and Molex connectors. I can still hear it when I stick my ear close to the grill. I'll miss my red LED fan. Now my principal Pc is the noisy 1. I purchased four of these things. The little ones' Pc (made from spare components) was deafening. The HTPC was pretty quiet but noticeable when watching a quiet movie late at evening. Now, if it weren't for the energy lamp, I wouldn't be able to inform if either of these have been on unless I was correct next to them. Apparently there isn't an 80mm version otherwise I would seriously look into purchasing six far more to replace all the fans in my key Computer

...strong develop and heavy airflow. Great cooling. Rapidly and loud runing at full speed. Anticipated less noise compared to a stock cooler. I should have been more careful. This 3-pin fan doesn't work properly with my 4-pin board. I believed about making use of it with a manual fan controller but it's start out voltage is too high.

So quiet you truly don't hear anything but air moving. For the price tag, they had been worth finding. Rubber mounts but no screws. If they break, you'd much better find some leftover screws for mounting. Wiring a bit confusing (MB plugs or molex connector...either perform, but no manual telling you that). The lack of included screws is the only reason I give four rather of five eggs. I'd not hesitate to get these in the future. I had purchased the Vantec "stealth fan" in a prior make and was amazed how good acquiring a quiet fan was. These got very good ratings, and I had no thought if the db rating was fantastic or not. These fans are extremely quiet. You hardly hear them when power management kicks in. Only genuine down side is the rubber mounts. They are great, but not impervious. If you damage one, it might not hold over time. If you choose mounting by way of screws, you don't get any in the box, so you have to come across them someplace else.

Fan itself is in essence silent. Only thing you may hear is a slight swoosh of turbulence moving previous your grills, mesh or other obstruction inside the case (which is regular and unavoidable for these who feel you really should hear nothing). Moves a decent quantity of air for a 1000 RPM fan + no vibration = good high quality style and workmanship. Sleeve bearings I guess...there are far better bearings out there but these are quite effectively made so it shouldn't be an situation. I have 4 of these in my Antec P183, 2 w/LED's in the front and two black&whites at the leading and rear. Together they move a lot enough air to hold my method cool and are a big improvement more than the noisy and vibration prone Antec Tri-Cools that came with it.

Moves a decent amount of air even though keeping a very low sound profile. Doesn't move as substantially air as advertised, but the manufacturer's specs are commonly exaggerated. Took some work to take away the pass-by means of molex connector to get only the three-pin fan header.

This fan is very related in air flow and overall noise output to the gentle typhoon 1150rpm. Commonly I advise either this fan or the typhoon if anyone is asking for sweet, golden silence. The advantage to this fan more than the typhoon, however, is that it comes with four rubber grommets, which *do* have an impact, at times significant, on noise.... Also this fan is considerably lighter than the typhoon, which shouldn't matter unless you care about weight. It's attainable that the typhoon pushes additional air at a related rpm/noise level, I haven't measured it although... it *feels* about the very same.Nonetheless faintly audible at highest speed. Nobody's perfect. I have been testing a number of of what are considered "the very best" silent fans about, attempting to get a good balance among airflow and noise. I've got the noctuas, this, the gentle typhoon and the sythe slipstream. The only "pro level" silent fan I haven't tested is the noiseblocker, but only due to the fact they weren't available by way of newegg. I had to do this myself mainly because I located the review sites to be inconsistent - all the time other noise got in the way of their final results, and manufacturer claims are generally wrong. This fan is one particular of the best, if not *the* very best silent 120mm case fans around.

Server was also loud, replaced the loud fans with a couple of these and now I don't hear it. Got a few much more computers that could be a tiny quieter. May have to get far more, only got three. Checked they are spinning and pushing air. If you get actual close to the server there is a extremely slight hum. I don't sit right next to the server so I only hear my laptop or computer.

Not completely silent, even though surely an improvement over the fans that came with my Antec 300 situation. I'm pleased with them - affordable airflow and noise. Difficult Drive is now my noisiest component.
