Purchased two of these now, the 1.0GHz (white) and 1.2Ghz (black) models. 1G about 6 months ago, working very well. 1.2G last month, working also just as well.The main use was a simple gaming machine for elder family members, an introduction to computer tech. D2 pad is geared toward children for the same reason - low cost.The speed is adequate for for non-3d usage, and basic internet. When playing games for long periods of time, they sometimes crash. Unclear if the games or Android. Easily rebootable and keeps on chugging.Battery life has been very good, 4-6 hours has been experienced, making the family happy. Charging via the wall adapter (round plug) or also via the USB connection, which is a nice backup option. I am hoping the batteries are quality enough that they will not degrade too quickly, hoping to get 5+ years from them, though I suspect will be half that. Time will tell.Screen angle is not great when compared with more expensive tablets, landscape mode visibility is good at 90 deg to 60 deg in one direction, not so bring outside that, but still readable. The issue is in portrait (tall) mode, 90+ to the left or right and one way is bright, one is darker. A little annoying, but again $100 tablet that works well, not complaining at all.Wireless worked immediately, no issues with setup on new and old wireless routers. Sometimes there are issued with older routers in my history.Comes with a few useless apps built in, which some were removable. The promotional videos included needed deletion via the file manager, which was no problem.All and all a good low cost Android tablet. Well worth the purchase for non-power users. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a very basic tablet or just learning about such technology. Decide what you like and dont like, then pass it on to another person and upgrade to a $400 tablet with knowledge.
