Cons: First one ordered had to be RMA'd because it did not work.

Pros: Mechanical Keys, Solid Build quality
Comment:
Great keyboard if you like the mechanical "clicky" keys. Just a regular looking keyboard. Was a little bit concerned when the first one I ordered did not work. Plugging it into a Mac, and 3 different PC's the keys would just not register. Sent it back and was shipped a new keyboard that works flawlessly. Perhaps it was just a faulty keyboard. Would definitely buy again and recommend.

Pros: Good qualityClicky feelUSB Hub
Comment:
I love Cherry MX blue keys and the clicky sound. Overall this keyboard looks very solid. The glossy design makes this keyboard look very good even it leaves fingerprints. I also have a Rosewill RK-9000 which is Cherry MX blue keys also, but I would buy this one again anytime.

Cons: Regular price is a tad expensive. Right hand ports for USB means large devices get in the way of mouse. I use Logitech's dongle for the first port, and use a trackball, hence not an issue here.

Pros: Good pressure sensitivity, sharp differentiation between keys so that mistyping is reduced (for a non-typist at least), great speed and satisfying clicking and key press. $79.99 sale price couldn't have been beat. USB ports (1 to 2 ratio, takes one slot and provides two ports) which works well with my micro Logitech dongle (right handed, so ports being on right side limits usefulness). Nice high gloss surface. Pleasant square fonts for keys. Long cord.

This is to replace my steelSeries 6G V/2 Mechanical Keyboard. That one has a media key where left Windows key would be, this is a feature if gaming as you don't boot yourself out of your console window, but is a pain when doing office work. Also my name is K. David and I found with the steetseries I ended up with K. david most of the time, I don't know if the keys need to be pressed all the way down to register and the shift key was already released before the stroke was registered, but this is not a problem with the das. I am very pleased with the typing speed and atavistic feel I'm getting with this keyboard. The lack of media keys is not a problem as I never use them anyhow. Also the footprint is ideal for my setup, nice and small, efficient, not cramped. My old Logitech Elite Keyboard was a beast and simply had, too, much bezel for my keyboard drawer. Sure I use a trackball and suffer it for six years without undue hardship, but it's nice to have a little negative space in my space. Cramped is bad. The USB port connector and keyboard one are clearly marked, and it comes with an adapter for USB to PS/2. My BIOS likes PS/2 (not USB) so I use it. Lifehacker reviewed this unit and it made it to the top five keyboards, I now know why.

Cons: Mechanical keyboard hype is slightly overblown

Pros: Solid constructionGood keyboard response; all the benefits of a mechanical keyboard
Comment:
As advertised, a solid mechanical keyboard. I switched from a 15 year old rubber-dome MS Natural keyboard, and don't regret it. Typing is smooth, and much more natural than the cheap enterprise keyboard I have at work. That being said, I think mechanical keyboards are slightly overhyped.

Cons: Reason 1.I was hoping that the keyboard would be heavy enough not to slide. It would be except when the feet are extended as they have no rubber on the end. The keyboard certainly needs it's feet extended otherwise the keyboard is the incline becomes a decline. Reason 2. It still feels too flat when it's the legs are extended to feel comfortable. Niggling Issues.1. Shiny sucks. The finish had visible scratches within an hour of opening and it was in a work environment and it looks filthy where your thumbs rest pretty much instantly.2. 2 USB ports to power this thing? Seems like insufficient engineering here.3. USB ports from the integrated hub point directly to the right and interfere with mouse use for us righties. Making the ports essentially unusable except for overnight charging or some small USB wireless receivers.

Pros: While the keys tactile feeling and sound are as described this keyboard has a large number of drawbacks. In fact a couple reasons are making think of returning it:
Comment:
Not worth the princely sum. I would not recommend buying this product for the reasons outlines. With a small amount of modifications and this would be an excellent product however so keep tuned for a manufacturers update.

Cons: -Very hard to clean-No braided cable for price-No gold contacts on the USB connectors

Pros: -LOVE the tactile feedback of the keyboard-Laser-etched keys to prevent fading-F1 key aligned with 2 (see summary)
Comment:
Overall, this keyboard is the best i have ever tried in terms of MX cherry blue switches and mechanical keyboards in general. The satisfaction that one gets from clicking on every key is great, and when the space bar is press, the space bar folds evenly instead of on one side. Also, the F1 keys are lined up with the 2 key. This is very important to me because i play SC2, and when going back to the base camera, it is much easier to reach right above the keys than if they were slightly slanted (like the black widow ultimate). When it comes to features, the Das Keyboard is lacking quite a bit. Though this is the best keyboard I've ever tried, there is a lack of high-end features for a high-end price. With braided cable or gold-contacts, I feel that the price can be drawn back quite a bit.

Cons: -It suddendly died (cause was not mechanical, wear and tear or abuse)

Pros: -Solid quality feel-Cherry MX Blue Keys (I prefer then over anything but REDs)
Comment:
Good keyboard, built by costar, the same compagny that builds the Filcos, or used to. Keys are lazer etched like alot of keyboards now and don't seem to wear out that fast. Yes, they are ABS keys like most out there (CM QuickFire, Filco, Rosewill and even most Duckies) and no I don't think getting slightly better plastic keys like PTB is worth it until you do wear them out and to be frank, that will take a few years of hard use to accomplish. So overall I liked the keyboard but I felt it was a bit easy to smudge (no biggie) and it has a numpad, which I was willing to live with for the sakes of having a mechanical keyboard. Now the thing that messed up the experience was the sudden failure, before that experience I had never seen or heard of a keyboard just dying. Ive had harddrives brick on me and I understand it's something that's bound to happen, so I can understand that a electronic device can and will eventually fail and sometimes you get a lemon.I just find it a bit dissapointing that I bought a expensive product on the pretence that it will be more reliable and durable than it's plastic membrane counterparts only to have it fail about 2 months afther use. That being said, NCIX handled the RMA wonderfully and while I definitely got a lemon, the keyboard was wonderful to use. Cons: Not exactly what you'd call cheap

Pros: Like other mechanical keyboards, it's great
Comment:
Like the other mechanical keyboards, the das is vastly superior to cheap rubber domes. The blue switches feel and sound amazing, but might be annoying to other people. If you're buying this for the office or something similar, I'd recommend getting the silent (even though it's not that silent) with the brown switches.Compared to the ultimate version, it's essentially the same thing, except the keys are labeled (the font is amazing, looks really nice). All in all, this is a great mechanical keyboard.

Pros: Everything good about Cherry MX Blue switches.

With the amount of time I spend on the computer each day, I figured that it was time to help myself to one of these. Oh boy, I don't think I could ever go back to rubber dome keyboards. Like others have said, if you've been considering mechanical for a while, stop considering and do yourself the favor.Really, words cannot describe  how awesome my fingers feel right now as I'm typing this review. If you're still skeptical, try to get your hands on a mechanical keyboard and see for yourself. This particular keyboard is VERY pleasing. It's simple, sturdy, and looks so professional. I can honestly say that I have never felt so comfortable typing in my life as I do now. Typing can actually be tiring, and the amount of energy you save from these kinds of keyboards is actually astounding. It's hard to believe, especially without experiencing it for yourself, and it seems like this entire review hasn't even come close to getting my point across.Put simply: as a gamer, programmer, and just overall keyboard user, this is hands down the best keyboard I have ever used.

Cons: - no extra features (media keys, macros, etc.)- no back lighting

Pros: - ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!- soft keys- heavy duty build quality- standard keyboard layout (no nonsense)
Comment:
This keyboard is absolutely beautiful. Even without the aesthetics of modern keyboards with the lights and extras, this is just an eye candy on your desk with the glossy finish of the casing. It does require some cleaning from time to time but not too much trouble with the provided cloth. Despite it's elegance, this keyboard is build like a tank. It's weight says more about it than anything else. I would go out on a limb at say that this keyboard is rage proof. There I said it. There is absolutely no flex to it! It sits on your desk and stays there.Typing is just as awesome as it is beautiful. It's a breeze pressing on the keys. Not a lot of force is required to register a keystroke and you need not bottom out the keys as well. These are cherry blue switches so the click. I've heard a lot of bad things about how annoying it sounds but I decided to go for it anyway since the positives are just so overwhelming. The sound is just awesome! Especially when you don't bottom out during your key press. I don't know if this is an acquired taste but so far, I haven't annoyed anyone yet. There's nothing else to say but BUY IT! BUY IT! BUY IT! I highly recommend it! At the very least try it. You owe yourself that much.

Pros: Love the sound. Great quality. Very nice keyboard.

Cons: Sound (Fairly loud like I mentioned, but this isn't a con if you've done your research. If you are ordering this over the "Silent" model with cherry MX Brown switches, then you are aware that the keys click and make a fair amount of noise.)Shiny Case (Can attract finger prints and oils off your hands easily so keep it clean with the provided cloth.)

Pros: Comfortable Feel (Easy on the hands and fingers when used for long amounts of time without breaks. Right out of the box it took zero getting use to and felt 100% natural.)Unique Feel (Bar none the most unique experience when playing games and typing. Nice tactile feel when you press the key down. Keys press down with ease and are pretty sensitive, but not overly sensitive.)Sound (Very unique and possibly not for everyone be warned! It is somewhat loud, although I personally love it!)Build quality is top notch (Very heavy and solid, amazingly constructed overall.)Zero poling PS/2-Ultra Low poling USB (PS/2 poling doesn't exist. If you're hooking it up through USB, the poling time is super low and is completely un-noticeable.)Zero key ghosting/NKRO feature (You can press as many keys as you want at the same time, and all of them go through.) ** MUST be hooked up through PS/2 **Size (Not compact or anything like that, but minimalistic in terms of added casing. Fits perfect compared to my old Saitek Eclipse which was kinda bulky.)USB Ports on the side (Good for connecting SD cards, ipod chargers, etc.)Long USB cable (6.5 feet so not restricting like some keyboards.)Normal layout overall (Nothing wacky like a smaller backspace key, moved keys, or anything like that.)Ease of set up (No drivers or control panels required for use.)Durability (Lifespan of 50 million keystrokes, and wear resistant laser etched keys.)Visually attractive (Has a nice shiny case which looks attractive as long as its clean. Use the cloth they gave you to remove prints!)
Comment:
After 5 hours of non stop use since receiving this keyboard, I have no urge to stop typing, so I decided to write this review! Leaps and bounds above my Saitek Eclipse II. Wish I would have owned this sooner. So unique and remarkable to say the least. Words cannot describe  how good this keyboard really is. Buy one now if you're on the fence.

Cons: - Quite a bit of wobble on the keys (not a real problem, just a surprise)- The keys could be stiffer (personal preference, not a defect with the board itself)- Very glossy

Pros: - Solid build quality- Nice font on the key caps- Very long USB cable- Mechanical key switches- Full NKRO- I type faster with this keyboard- Subtle, no backlighting or extra buttons
Comment:
I had been using an old IBM Model M, produced in 1997 for the past two or so years and fell in love with it. However, the space bar was broken and I'd finally grown tired of having to rig it together with Scotch Tape so I decided to take the plunge and get a more modern mechanical keybaord. I'd investigated what was available and had previously owned the Solidtek board that is sold at NCIX but killed it by spilling a drink on it (why I got the Model M in the first place). I'd settled on a keyboard with Cherry blue switches since they seem to be universally praised. I was surpised at how little force it takes to press the keys. I was used to the buckling springs of my board and I have to admit that I miss the stiffness. That said, the tactile point of this keyboard is far more appearant than the IBM and it is much easier not to bottom out the keys. I have no doubt that I'll fully adjust to the Das S and it will be with me for a great many years to come. I'd recomend it to anyone who is looking for a high quality keyboard with out any extraneous flash.

Cons: Pretty loud keyboard, but that's to be expected with cherry mx blue switches. Glossy finish makes scratches very noticeable.

Pros: The feel of the keys are great. Tactile so that you know when a key has been activated. The sound of the keys are nice to me but others may not find it as appealing. Glossy finish looks great and does not attract fingerprints.
Comment:
A great mechanical keyboard for both typing and gaming. The loudness of this keyboard may turn off some.
