Mid size, ideal for my sons case.. This thing is black with black innards. Had Blue Fans, Buut switched those to my DF-85.. Fits a GTX 260 no difficulty, has good screen to catch dust on the intake fans.. B.E.A.Utiful... Fans need to be less complicated to swap out. Make the front bay decor attach to the drives so it opens when the drive opens... Make much better cable management please Antec... could have employed superior than was provided... Still a wonderful Case Switched the blue fans for my Red ones from the DF-85... Appears amazing with the red fans and the Blue from his LED Essential tracer Memory and the Blue LED Zalman CPU cooler... I just got this case, and I certainly enjoy it. Appears good, adore the fans with variable speeds, really like the front fan filters. I also really like that the side panel window had a place prepared for one more fan, so I installed one particular from my old tower. Applied to use a Raidmax Serius, which looks quite cool, but was considerably poorer top quality than this. All the three.five" and five.25" slots are great, the ones on my old tower have been actually tight and I hated the tool-much less design. Type of wish the hot swapable SATA port on best would match a 3.5" hard drive, considering that I don't personal any SSD's, and don't plan on receiving one particular any time soon because they're rediculously priced. Not confident what that other motherboard plug sticking off of the a single for the front panel audio is for, due to the fact I don't have another spot on my MB for it...

- Comes with 4 fans ( 3x 120 and 1x 140) - Simple to clean dust front filters, a step forward from the 300 - CPU cut out - Nice air flow - Anti vibration silicone on side window fan - nice rubber mounts on the bottom for the power supplies - Lots of room for HDDs - Tricool fans - uncomplicated to access front fan controls - The side window is 1 solid piece rather of the 2 piece design on the 900 and 1200 series - - Just an Antec 300 with a face lift - Antec 300 Illusion is just about precisely half the price tag and far better looking - All fans are four pin molex - Fan controls for the rear fans and top fans are located at the back of the case - Bay covers block the CD ROM slots, must open door prior to ejecting CD ROM. - No dust filter on side window fan - No Esata port on front pannel - No anti vibration silicone for tough disk drives like in the Antec P series and Sonata series - External hot swap 2.5 bay is an ugly design and entirely useless. - HDD nevertheless mount the regular way leaving a good cable mess inside the case for everybody to see. Why include a side panel window if there will be cable mess if you fill all six HDD bay with drives. The Sonata series got the HDD mounting appropriate, why cant the gaming series?! - No cable routing holes in the motherboard tray - Microphone and headphone jacks are not labeled - does not assistance Antec CP power supplies - Price!!!!! Im going to be sincere and say that i do not personal the case but i have unboxed 1 and checked it out.Antec does not listen to their customers at all, this is why many customers are going to other brands, I owned a Antec 900, wonderful case for its day and age, upgraded to the Antec 902 which was just a minor improvement and now im searching for an additional case to start my next construct at the finish of the year, Antec is not on my list of case choices.Antec do not get it and im afraid its too late for them to fully grasp.1. Put all the fan controls up front or do not include any fans at all with the case at a decreased expense. Cooler Master got this appropriate because their fans are 3 pin with a Molex adapter for a decision.two. Quit taking the identical case from a prior model, remolding the plastic components and rerelease it at such a higher value. This case is basically N82E16811129066 with a facelift at 2x the value.three. Why compete with your self? The DF-35 is only บ a lot more and comes with two hotswap bays!

Quite solidly constructed. Lots of space & was in a position to hide cords extremely effortlessly. Good seeking! Very first Antec case and will definity not be the last! Didn't come with the needed pieces to attach my SSD drive on the bottom mount. Though the drive I purchased came with a mount. Really minor concern, reset & energy buttons are not labeled in front very nicely, jsut have to keep in mind exactly where every are.

The appears are good and the fans are largely quiet the SSD reader slot had a bad SATA cable needed to replace that, The case came in with a smaller crack but you can only see it when your trying to appear for it, the case kinda feels low cost possibly they could verify the SSD reader to see if it operates just before they seal it in the box wouldnt price them substantially to see if its not operating

Straightforward to get rid of washable fillters. Front access for installing drives. A nice looking Mid size case. If useing ASUS mobo the HD Audio cable is to short. The optional Video fan grill in the side panel dosn't have a filter. The over all excellent to me isn't as fantastic as the 902 series I generally use. I assume subsequent time I will attempt the DF-35 for the further space.

Appears incredible, side-viewing window is good, airflow, cable management capability, bottom mount power supply, black interior. Top hot swap SSD slot. This doesn't make any sense to me, who is honestly utilizing SSD's like flash drives? Maybe some men and women uncover this useful, but it is an eyesore to me (although they did a good job for what it is), and i would have Substantially rather noticed one of those recessed trays with rubber to hold cameras, mp3 players, and so on. that some other circumstances have... My greatest reservation about obtaining this case was that no one talked about cable management capability. The back case cover pops off quickly, showing off some fantastic standoffs and location to hide cables behind the mobo tray. In addition, you can mount a CPU cooler with the board installed if you want with access to the back of the mobo exactly where the CPU cooler mounting bracket goes.

Cons: - Can be tight with several HDDs and dual graphics cards (dual 5850s in my case)

Pros: - Solid Build Quality- Sufficient space for most custom builds- Great asthetics- Good Airflow
Comment:
I have had this case for over 2 years now and it has been great. For dual graphics cards, it may be a little tight if you are a media hog and have several hard drives, but I've managed.

Quiet fans with switches to modify speeds. The bays are merely great and incredibly simple to operate with. Cable management is incredibly good. Enjoy the leds and the open side is wonderful. If you are fairly cautious, it will not scratch as some claim. Love the front access panels to CDROM and drive bays. Send documentation. They advertise becoming green and you have to go online. I would have liked a printed copy. Don't like there are no screws and panels for rear slots with access to pci slots, and so forth.... Good value for ๳. I attempted a ฼ Rosewill case that was delivered defective with a terrible switch. I spent lots of time troubleshooting and with this case, all was effectively. I am happier as the general workmanship on this situation is much better. Much better to have over the longer term.

This is by far the ideal case I've ever worked with. Superb design, solid construction, high quality parts, easy access. This case delivers phenomenal cooling and is incredibly quiet even with all stock fans set to high. None I agree with other reviewers when I say that this most undoubtedly is not a 馄 with facelift'. Moreover, if you do not personal or have not worked with this case, please do not try to critique it; this is not helpful for anyone.

Looks fantastic, nice air-flow, front filters to assistance manage dust, feels sturdy. Took 1 egg off for....Wire management could be enhanced, slot covers are punched/serrated and as soon as removed they do not have covers (only sharp corners located had been soon after getting rid of these for the video card), unmarked audio jacks on the front. General, I really like the case, installation was uncomplicated, plenty of space, and well, looks wonderful. Far more gap between M/B mounting and outdoors cover for wires and delivered with Card slot covers bolted in and not just stampped for removal only would make this a five egg case.

-Improved styling-All-black interior-External 2.five" hot-swap bay (I really like it) -No cable management-Headphone/Mic jacks are NOT LABELED!! What's up with that…it's just plain stupid.-Certain the CD bay covers block CD drive slots, but I hardly ever use them to start with, so meh. An additional reviewer mentioned that this was primarily a facelift of a 300 Illusion. This is NOT true. It is a facelift of the 600, which is significantly considerably closer in price tag to this.

I just got this case for my 3d modeling and Autocad construct and I need to say this situation is good. I like the all black inside, the size is just excellent for me, and really good airflow. It took me a couple of to figure out how to open the fans/HDD bays on the front. With the blue 12" Cold Cathodes kit it genuinely looks great. It is extremely effectively made, I thought that when I added a 120mm fan on the side that the window would rattle like on my old case but it doesnt. I very advocate this case Note not truly a con but dosent have a removable motherboard tray :(

Pros: nice design, easy hdd access

great case, nice look, the adjustable fan speeds are nice and the blue leds look great, the fleet release doors and built in hot swap drive are nice touches, only bad things are the lack of cable space behind the rear panel, recent upgraded to an nzxt phantom 410 and love it, but the df30 is still a great case

The metal in the case feels sturdy, i don't really feel like i am going to brake the case if i was going to do any perform with it, and the plastic covers are a bit awkward but once you figure out how to open them there very good. There is lots of space inside the case and i have had no problems with my personal computer overheating.Final thing, fans aren't that loud, because my desk is right subsequent to my bed, i can fall asleep with it operating (i am not saying it is silent, but it isn't that loud) Not genuinely that substantially, other than the front covers of the case are a bit awkward at initially. The i/o plate for the motherboard doesn't quite sit right with the motherboard, but not that poor. I just got the case as i liked how it looked, only factor i would like to have to transform would i would like to have observed this case with red fans. I will do that in the future!

Cons: Although a larger case, cable management seemed tight. Not impossible to keep things organized, but planning was needed and creative use of tip ties.

Pros: Swanky look, quality parts. Smart design. Lots of screws and fasteners included. Great packaging/packing.

A big update  case for me, not one problem with performance. Quiet as can be expected. I like the adjustable fans, removable filters, subtle lighting. The sata drive on the top of the case seemed like an afterthought, or gimmick. Maybe I'd use it if some weird circumstance came up, but not in the year I've owned it.Anyway, great case and for $120, it's a proper investment.

Cons: -Bad cable management-Could have better features for the price

Pros: -LEDs are fantastic-Good ventilation for a mid tower

I got it on special for somebody. I must say I had a bad time with the cable management and this case doesn't have what other gaming cases I work with have (clips for the HDDs, clips for the dvd drives, removable parts, etc.). Since it was on special I guess it's good for a budget PC, but there's better cases for a few more bucks. I guess Antec is jsut not my style.. But Yeah it does the job.

Cons: cant swap antec fans for others. would like quieter fans

Pros: lots of ventilation, pretty quiet, tons of room to work in
Comment:
great ventilation dropped temps down 10 degrees one cpu and hdd. dropped graphics card temps 15 to 20 degrees. My first gaming case but way better than my old jerry rigged run of the mill case. Only drawback is case fans are hard wired in and cant be replaced with regular fans. Hope Antec will offer replacements.

Cons: expansion slot covers are punch out and can not be re-added could have longer front panel connecters

Pros: black interioramount of fans for pricepretty quiet with fans on lowgreat air flowblue leds(top fan has none)fan filters
Comment:
My favorite case I have owned and I am kind of surprised there are not more reviews for this one. Price matched but I still would have went with it even without the PM. 2 exhaust fans(rear 120mm and top 140mm) and 2 intakes(front 120mm). The intake fans have easily removable fan filters on them. The filter really trap a lot of dust and after 3 months there is very little dust inside the PC. I purchased the Antec TriCool 120mm blue led case fan for the side window and also got a Mod Right fan filter to add to it since the case does not offer one. Adjustable fan speed and with all fans on low it cools well without being loud. You also add and remove the hard drives from the front door which is great. Fit everything into it with room to spare including my Zalman cooler which is quite big. I am really happy about the room because I did not have the space for a full ATX and the cheaper price of a mid ATX was nice as well. It also has a black interior and a spot to help a bit with cable management. It also has a cut out where the CPU fits to be able to add after market CPU coolers without taking the mobo back out, although I never tryed as this was a new build and I installed it on the mobo before placing in the case. The only thing I would have liked would be removable expansion slot covers. The ones on the case have to be punched out and can not be re added but its not that big of a deal and maybe slightly longer cords for the front panel connectors.
