Cons: can be a little loud when using adapter
Pros: cheap fanworks as intendedcomes with molex adapter Comment:
I think it runs at full speed when using molex adapter. EXTREMELY loud. It does run quietly when connected to a motherboard fan header though. Molex adapter can be manually switched to run from 5v instead of 12v to decrease noise/rpm Overall decent quality, very cheap price and included molex adapter |

Cons: Loud on full speed
Pros: Pushes a lot airLow costPWM SupportInexpensive Comment:
A good option for a replacement fan for your cooler, or for a case that only fits smaller sized fans.As long as you speed control this fan it's very good. |

Cons: Average fan for average price
Pros: Average fan for average price Comment:
Got one of these for my newly build system. Due to configuration, had to go with the 92mm vs the 120mm. Packaging was decent, easy to open and was suprised to find out that it was designed by a Japanese company. Note that the fan is made in China.Came with an adapter for 3/4 pins configuration. RPM rating of 300-2500. Decent fan for a decent price. |

Cons: Too slow to trigger PWM management on Dell systems.
Pros: Quiet at low speeds. Comment:
The slow start-up speed and too-low initial speed triggers "fan failure" on PWM-based Dell systems. Keep this in mind if you are using it to replace an OEM PWM fan - it's too slow to work. I'd imagine it would have the same issue on HP systems, too. I've tried 3 other Nexus brand fans, and they don't trigger the warning, so keep that in mind. This fan is probably perfect for systems that don't require a minimum RPM at POST. |

Cons:
none
Pros: lots of air Comment:
like everyone else i expected less noise but it's still 10x quieter than the fan on the old prescott heatsink so no complain here and go wrong with a price like this for a fan nowadays |

Pros: QuietCool Comment:
I bought this fan because I was looking for something quiet but at the same time something that would keep my system cool. This product was recommended to me by a friend. System runs 24/7 and keeps the system at a stable temperature. |

Cons: none
Pros: 2 years and going strong with no lost of performance Comment:
ive had these fans for 2 years now, just perfect, still silent, still turning(id say 20+ months none stop), with no lost of performance.very good fans all around. |

Cons: None - bland appearance perhaps?
Pros: QuietInexpensivePWM connector Comment:
I bought this to replace a dying fan on an older Freezer 7-Pro. After removing the AC fan I expanded the original holes just enough to attach some Noctua rubber fan holders then added this fan in. My E6600 now runs about 3 degrees cooler than before and is just as quiet. |

Cons: not very pretty
Pros: 4 pin adapter, quiet, pushes a lot of air Comment:
This is a great fan. Keeps my CPU nice and quiet. Glad to find a quality 92mm for my heat sync. Only downside is it's not very attractive if you're going for a stylish case. |

Cons: -None so far
Pros: -nearly no noise at low rpm-PWM-Price Comment:
This fan is a really good choice for those who want a good 92mm fan with PWM. I'm using it with an Ultima-90 and I can barely hear it. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-17-08 05:51 PM |

Cons: Loud at max speed
Pros: Sounds very smoothPWMNot too expensiveOpen corners Comment:
Bought this to replace the fan on the Kingwin RVT-9225. It does sound a lot smoother than then stock fan, but the overall noise level was about the same and it did not cool the heatsink any better. I wish Scythe would make Slip Stream PWM fans... they are superior to the Kamas. |

Pros: -Quiet-High flow rate Comment:
I got this fan to go with an ultima-90 on a E6400. Replaced a zalman 9500 heatsink that was noisy and not very efficient cooler. CPU idles at 36C with the fan running at 85% (speefan) and under load (100% orthos) 46C. At 100% speed the fan become s audible. Great PWM fan! |

Cons: noise
Pros: cheap, good cooling performance Comment:
Good cooling performance on ultima-90. E6600 overclocked at 3.4ghz never goes over 55c. The price is good after price match. But i would probably buy something else if i have to pay 8.99$. Because at full speed, this fan make a little bit too much noise. |

Cons: noise, length of cables
Pros: performance Comment:
i purchased this to replace the side window fan on the TT Tsunami, but have since removed it due to the amount of noise this outputs. even when not at max rpm, i still found it too loud. i have since removed this fan and cut the window to accept a 120mm fan instead. the d12sl yate loon im using is MUCH quieter at max rpm and still pushes a decent amount of air. |
MrLau@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 02/10/08 |
Cons: Louder than expected but could because the wire is too short and could plug it in the motherboard
Pros: Very easy to install Comment:
Wire was too short to plus in motherboard. It's louder than expected and it might be because it's running at full speed all the time. |
Mark_C@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 01/09/08 |
Cons: -loud at the highest RPM setting
Pros: -high CFM for a 92mm fan-4 pin connector (auto adjust speeds)-4 screws and 4pin adapter included-solid construction Comment:
Originally purchased for the VGA card heatsink. Thermalright hr-03 plus. Great fan to use with a NVIDIA 8800gtx vga card. Helps rid the hot temps the vga card generates.Sadly though the fan is now in my drawer. Decided to mod a 120mm fan onto the HEATSINK and it cools slightly better, but most importantly quieter.Great fan for a 92 mm that moves alot of air |
Surf-a-holic@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 12/13/07 |
Cons: Motherboard set, my mother board won't run it slower then 1400rpm which is still to fast and loud for my liking, even though everything is cool.
Pros: Adjustable speed to keep things quietBlack(no tacky lights or colors) Comes with screws and 4pin adapter Comment:
Would buy again if the price is right. Might stick with slower speed fans though. I like quieter, although this is pretty quite. |
