Great DVD drive; I wouldn't recommend it however because you can get a 22X performance ASUS drive for the same if not lower price.However if they are out of stock at the time; this would be the next best choice. |

Bought this on sale for $9.99. Can't go wrong for a basic drive for new build, who uses drives now a days anyways. Haven't tested burning yet but don't think I'll have the need anyway. |

I just needed an optical drive to install the OS and this was the cheapest I could find. Other than that, it serves no purpose for me.It's a little loud when reading, but fortunately I won't be using it after I install windows. |
