Cons:
Plug adapters are physically quite large so may get in the way of other devices.
Pros: Fast data speeds. |

Cons:
No pass-thru for power
Pros: Simple, reasonable price, reasonable performance Comment:
After 10 months of use, my first set of 2 units is working flawlessly and I will source more. I'm seeing 70 - 90Mbps regardless of where I plug these in. It isn't quite fast enough for HD video streaming, but it is far more consistent than 802.11g or n wireless. This is a FANTASTIC solution for printers, security cameras and other low to mid bandwidth network gear. It works well for internet connected TVs Blu-ray players and other set-top boxes as well. Don't expect full wired Cat-5 performance (100Mbps or Gigabit) and you'll be fine.Highly recommended as an alternative to stringing cable. |

Cons:
none
Pros: ease of use Comment:
it's not going to go up to 200mbps because it is only using 100mbps ethernet. mileage may vary depending on your house's electrical circuitry. overall satisfied with the product |

Cons:
Connection speed totally depends on your house; in terms of your existing electrical wiring.
Pros: Easy to set up. Had it working within 5 minutes.Good documentation as well. Comment:
Initially I was impressed by how much of an improvement this was compared to wireless. I used this as an extension from my 1st to 3rd floor network. After a week or so the connection started to drop and eventually it didnt work at all. I replaced my original unit but it didnt help. If your house is older than 10-15 years am guessing this isnt an alternative to cat 5 cable. Odd how it worked originally but eventully died. Satisfactory if you are using this in a new home. |

Can't think of any
Pros: Easy Setup, works as advertised Comment:
No big complaints on it, it worked as advertised. Basically just plug it in and it just works. I'm getting close to 60mbit from my basement to my 3rd floor, much better than the wireless bridge I was running and is more than enough to stream HD content.Would recommend if you need consistent ethernet in hard to reach places. |
This works almost like magic since it allows for any socket in the house to become a dataport. I thought stuff like the dishwasher or clothes dryer would introduce noise but the DHP-303 kept the data speeds consistent when I was downloading. Setup took a while to figure out (have to follow the instuctions exactly) and you'll get some exercise running up and down the stairs to synchonize the two adapters to talk to each other, but once it's done you don't have to do it again even if you pull the adapters out of the wall as it keeps the settings internally.
