I purchased this card on 4Ǟ񳏊 and arrived in 4 days. Installed it and I have Windows MCE 2005 on Dell Omniplex G270 with one particular Ƒ) PCI slot & one Ƒ) APG slot. It is a low profile Dell desktop setup, so this why I got this card. Its has an extended warranty worth it. Radio & CD-R/DVD operate effectively with the remote. See my other commets please. The Pros: Great MCE 2005 remote, Low Profile, effortless set up, & undesirable setup. It worked except the Tv section; the DVD, Radio worked fine. I had no Television video show with this card. There is no MSI Assistance for it. I emailed MSI with my program information and the issues; and asked for a repair or enable. MSI emailed me back to put it in one more PCI slot and it would work ...(Laughing in thought as I look at my PCI Slots) Only one PCI Slot on my Dell computer. No real MSI Tech Support offered & it sucks. MCE stated I had no Television signal from my digital antenna, yet I could hook it to my orginal old Tv three'away and had a siginal to the old television with no challenge. I had very same challenge with the Television software program that came with this card. I difficulty shot it and think the card's tuner is defective on this card I recieved. Now I have to return it & wait for a fantastic replacement to come. It's the only I could come across with a internal low profile. I attempted a USB Tuner and it broke, due to the weight of the Television coaxial. I have determined that this card is defective in the tuner part. I plan to return it for a replacement as defective. The digital tuner on the 2nd one actually worked. Initially order, tuner card identified more than 21 FM channels and the analog chanel from Television two from the satellite box. Even so, digital off air tuner would not perform. Second one recieved immediately after RMA, digital and analog Tv tuner both perform, FM tuner does not. Excellent item notion poorly executed. ArcSoft computer software that comes with it has a problem with sound volume, is really low. Windows 7 Media Center does just fine, but doesn't let you to toggle between the digital and analog input. This card is great. I had a WinTV card prior to it and this card does every thing the WinTV did and isn't as bulky. I'm at the moment employing it in a windows 7 pc running media center. The image for basic cable is decent, the HD image from the ATSC antenna is fantastic, and the radio operates great also. It's great how many attributes they can fit in such a tiny card. The antenna for ATSC isn't the greatest. An after marketplace a single may get a superior signal. Other than that it isn't a poor card at all.

Analog channels worked effectively from cable connection. Could not get any OTA digital channels to operate at all. Included s/w found a handful of digital channels from the scan but would not display any. Could not discover any OTA digital channels employing WMC. I am trying to set up more than the air HDTV so I can cancel my cable subscription. I want a way to record but this card is not operating for me at all. Receiving all my digital over the air channels on the TC without troubles. This card will be going back. Received 28 FM Stations Don't acquire MSI Solutions-- There is NO Tech Support-- Don't buy MSI Goods-- Don't obtain MSI Items--a week after my Tech installed this Product, my computer crashed. The box was good and glossy. Item did not perform! We tried each doable configuration and setting and were not ever able to get the Tv card to work. right now i appear to be receiving normal channels which is great, so it's no various then getting my normal television. Also i use this in my bedroom and i don't use a cable box with it. so it's like getting a splitter on your cable wire and goin appropriate into your television with no cable box from your cable provider. I was under the empression that i would be able to get HD channels with out getting a cable box. I do get the channels although on the major television in my house, so am a subscriber and plus im renting the HD box from cablevision. But they make it sound like this would substitute a cablebox. Unless i haven't figured it out but, but i was going more than and more than all last night and no difference, and the setup is pretty straight forward. if i uncover out anything various i will repost If anybody knows what i'm talking about, and knows a way to to get the HD channels that i know i have, but without having to rent one more box from the cable organization, please help!

This card works with minimum headache installing. As for the antenna that's included, the documentation states which port to connect...no problems. The port for over the air is the one on top that worked with my non-amplified indoor antenna. I get all of the digital channels living in a townhouse. Documentation for the computer software capabilities is sparse with no mentioning of how to use the editing attributes for recorded material. For the quantity of selections listed in the suite the documentation must at least detail the most most likely employed selections. For the cost it's hard to complain, but overall it does what I want it to.
