Cons: Too advanced, There isnt a basic setting aside from the advanced so you gotta really read some research to figure out what most of it does

Pros: Features awesome range and the advanced control panel allow broader settings to be placed
Comment:
I bought this router about 1 months ago, It got to me nice and boxed i loved it, hooked it up and it was amazing, i was out in my shed and still had reception. With the adapter i bought for my laptop its brilliant. Im downloading and surfing the internet at top speeds and to be honest, only had 1 problem so far. Seemed like the password changed itself or something, couldnt get out of aquiring network address for 3 days, went in and reset it to factory defaults and i was back to blazing speeds.

Cons: Configuration. When customizing settings and using port forwarding, I've had some issues, minor, however still problems.

Pros: Wireless NEasy InstallGreat Signal
Comment:
For an average home router, it's great. Provides a good signal and wireless N technology if you have the required NIC adapters. However, the configuration site, or control panel, is somewhat difficult to navigate through and I've had issues configuring port forwarding and DHCP reservations.

Cons: crappy receptionpoor performance overall

Pros: cheapdraft NQOS engine
Comment:
i owned this thing for 4 months and it was great for the first month, but when i started to get a ps3 and xbox 360, i found out that this router failed in giving static ips and port forwarding.. really a piece of crap.. the features arent that impressive anyways and the reception is a freakin miracle if i have a 100%.. even when only inches apart.. damn shouldve sticked to linksys.. not recommended..

Cons: Installer a bit "too easy"

Pros: Great rangeWireless N is fast
Comment:
Having owned this router for only a couple days, I can tell it's pretty good. The range on it is insane, and seeing as my computers are Wireless-N compatible, it works really nicely.Only qualm I have is the installer, I would have liked a couple more custom options.

Cons: Included networking software

Pros: Strong signal, no interruptions
Comment:
I set up using the included wizard - which leads you to the included networking software (I forgot its name). Could not get my brand new notebook (vista 64)to connect to network (could detect it though), but wired connection to desktop worked. Uninstalled networking software (don't really need to be networked to the old desktop), re-installed using Vista help features. Works with no problems both wired and wireless.

Cons: -only 10/100-thats about it but this wasn't ment for a gb connection

Pros: -it works and it works well-looks decent-comes with wall mounting kit and vertical stand
Comment:
it has pretty good signal strength....i get "very good" signal in windows from a laptop in the basement (the router is on the 2nd floor so they have a full space and 2 floors between them)has n connectivity but really if you need n speeds just wire it up... the firmware is pretty easy to use and offers some good security...id recomment it if you need a cheap wireless routerthere can be cheaper though with equal quality and performance so this thing gets 4/5 very good a little pricey (i mean that buy like 10-15$ so not really)

Cons: No built in DSL Modem

Pros: Outstanding Range
Comment:
I am pretty sure the entire block that surrounds my house new when I turned on this router. I picked up my Laptop and drove about a 1/2 Kilometer before I started loosing signal strength. I have yet to try out the 802.11n part of this router but I can only hope it functions as well as the G.

Cons: connectivity problems with Rev Cfirmware v 3.01 problems

Pros: fast, stable(Rev. A)
Comment:
There are 2 revisions. Many of us got the newer Rev C. The firmware version 3.01 was incompatible with Shaw Cable etc. The small percentage got Rev. A, which works at first try. I personally bought the newer revision had to return it for an older revision. There is a new firmware that fixes the problem, but it has taken over 3 months to address the issue.

Cons: seems to have issues with Videotron cable modem, both needs to be rebooted once in a while

Pros: hassle free installationstrong signaldoes not take much place on the desktop
Comment:
Very good product, though some small problems still do exist. The coverage is better than my old DI-624, and overall I get better speed, in a two story house. I paid 90$ for it, and I think it is very well worth the price. To be honest, the problem I'm experiencing may be due to Vista's shaky compatibility with my USB adapter.

Cons: Could not enable from the cd.

Pros: Strong signal, noticably faster than my Dlink 524. Easy encryption. Ready for the future.
Comment:
I bought this because my 524 would not quite reach all corners of my two story house.I could not use the "easy setup" cd to get it going but I called their support line and we had it going in a jiff. WPA encryption was a snap. I am happy with this router. No dropped connections yet!

Cons: None apparent.

Pros: SPI and NAT firewallsWireless fully compatible with B, D, G, and N standards.QOS for VOIP and streaming compatiblity.Easily configurable.
Comment:
This router is a dream. I set it up and it worked right away. In spite of this, I suggest that one download the manual from the CD and read it. From here you learn how to fine tune the gateway to your needs and desires.D-Link offers no assurances that the draft version of this N router will be adopted as the official standard, however, this does work as it is so it will likely be not much of a concern. Hopefully, a firmware upgrade might be all that is needed to comply with the final N standard. If one reads the manual on this, there should be no problems with this very fine piece of equipment. NCIX has it on sale right now for $95 and I think that it is well worth the price for the security and advanced features that it brings!PS- Did I say that it looks very sleek? Cons: None...

Pros: Setup was a snap, router had the ability to update itself automatically to the latest firmware at the first setup screen. Setting up connection and WPA2 was baby food! Nice looking, easy to use web interface!
Comment:
The router looks good aesthetically, provides very strong reception throughout the house versus Linksys wrt54g (62% now 90%). Connection shows 300Mbps (using matching D-Link N PCI wireless adapter) and transfers of files are very noticeable. A 3 gig file on my 54g setup took ages...now it's near wire speed thank you.

Cons: Internet dectecting software was corrupt or just plain messed up but isnt neccesary so wasnt a problem

Pros: Easy Setup, Interface, Nice looking, Easy to open ports, D-Link support IMO is superior to linkys from past experience, fast, and just plain good!
Comment:
Awesome ive gone through many different routers most of them linksys but this is by far the best. Also the phone and online support is outstanding, havent had a problem yet but when i do ill just call d-link and theyll fix it :)

Cons: Nothing yet

Pros: Transmission speed is fast, Easy to install, reasonable price.
Comment:
After three attempts to install a wireless network in my home I finally succeeded with this Router. I also used a DWA-642 notebook adapter which is incredibly fast. The transfer rate is always above 225 MBPS. There are rumours around that D-link wireless products don't work with the Bell Sympatico ISP....THIS IS NOT TRUE...as this is my provider.
