Cons: -Too sloped/stepped/sits too high. This is the main problem for comfort.-Unless you're coming from a Ducky already it will bother a lot of people (even worse if you put the feet up, buy a palm rest if you want to tolerate this). Don't get it if you're coming from a flatter/less sloped keyboard-Cord isn't braided.-There is a discernible metallic permeation clang off the metal shield inside when typing, particularly on spacebar depressing with mild force. This isn't a defect, it is simply how it's built. Can only imagine how loud it is with the blue switches.-Requires bottoming out almost for actuation.-Keys are too sharp on the edges (always a bad thing)
Pros: -Heavy and sturdy, like a brick for build quality-Fingers feel relaxed on depression-Dedicated media keys above the numpad (mute, vol up, vol down, calculator)-Comes with a key remover tool |
Considered getting some Red O-Rings to lessen the bottoming out and see if that dealt with that mild metallic feedback clang but decided I'll probably return it and just go Filco or Das instead.The permeation metallic noise is fucking loud actually, the more I type the more I realize it.I'm not slagging off Ducky since it's build quality is deffo impressive and I love Brown switches.At the same time the A)clang andthe height make you want to steer clear and grab a Filco, Das or Rosewill at the same price, or even with backlit.Buy a cushy palm rest if you're coming from Rubber Dome.
