Needed this adapter for my 3 monitor setup on my 5850s. Cable could be a bit longer.

Cons: none so far

Pros: works perfectly for 3 monitors on 5770
Comment:
if you're reading this, you're probably, like most of us, trying to get a 3 monitor setup on an ATI graphics card.after searching high and low, and a lot of frustration with an accell displayport to vga adapter (which was on the official eyefinity "approved list"), i took the plunge (and the disclaimer from the ncix rep about "works in theory, but not 100% guaranteed to work in practice", and bought it. took it home, plugged in, and it works perfectly.the main problem, as you would probably have found out if reading this, is that while a lot of modern cards have up to 4 inputs (2xDVI, 1xHDMI, 1xDisplayPort in my case), the maximum number of monitors you can have is 3, and one of them MUST be on the DisplayPort. So between the 2xDVI and 1xHDMI, you can only plug in two out of the three monitors.this is my setup:ATI 5770, with 3 monitors. 2x samsung 191T's, 1 asus 23" LED. the 23" LED is on HDMI, while the one 19" is on DVI and the other one is connected to the DisplayPort through this adapter.

Pros: eyefinity, or 3rd screen,no drivers needed

originally bought the wrong one but because xfx cards need mini display port adapter, but used it on the second computer and it works great for ether a 3rd monitor or eyefinity no complaints yet.

If you are looking for an inexpensive why of utilizing eyefinity, this is the way to go. Unlike active converters, this one won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Cons: A bit more expensive than the HIS active adapter.

Pros: Works wellSleek black lookVery solid feel
Comment:
I purchased this for an eye-finity setup. It works well, does the job and has a solid feel while still looking nice. It has a rubber grip feel to it which makes it east to pull out. It has worked well with no problems.

Cons: A bit bulky, it could be a longer cable that actually connects right to your monitor instead of having to connect a seperate dvi cable.

Pros: Certified for Eyefinity & fits an HD 6850 display port.
Comment:
Intially, I was searching for a cheap displayport adapter for eyefinity and I stumbled on a few but they weren't clear if they were passive or active. Luckily NCIX has this one which clearly states it is an active adapter and it is certified for use with Eyefinity! Shipping is always great with the many options available, it came extremely well packaged in a box with airbags & sealed with fragile warning tape.

Cons: Still pricey

Pros: Finally makes Eyefinity work
Comment:
Finally, AMD released something affordable adapter that makes Eyefinity work. You have to have this 'active' DP adapter, otherwise you can only have no more than 2 monitor working.Being a single-link DVI, it only supports up to 1920x1200. But that's enough for most people.Although it's in $30 price range, I still think it's pricey. Because they should include this adapter in the box of all the Eyefinity ready video card. Just like those DVI to VGA adapters.Another thing is that with the latest 6xxx video card, they require a mini-DP adapter, which makes this one useless. It's only good with the 5xxx card.
