We are using this in place of 7 or 8 2 TB external drives. We have several satellite imagery projects that each require 10 to 12 TB. Using the DRobo Pro allows us to access all the imagery for an individual project without playing old time operator with USB and firewire plugs. The good, its so simple to setup it made me giggle. The bad, not quite as fast as advertised but it's still faster than a USB external. Overall we like it alot, and the initial investment is well worth it. Many thanks to our salesman Paul for recomending this product.
