Cons: - I had to get the european firmware in order to get my wireless networking working: The American firmware is BAD, DO NOT get it/use it. update your modem with the european one, it rocks!- I had to look on the internet for firmware updates- Bad manual, does not really explain anything
Pros: - Fast Modem/Wireless networking- Easy-to-Setup, even though some things like wireless may not work afterwards- Faster speeds on SpeedTest- The modem does its job and once you have it set up correctly, the wireless signal is very strong! Comment:
If you are an average user, you might be having a hard time setting up your wireless, so I recommend you look on the internet for (mostly Google): "2640B European firmware" and use the latest version, 4.00!It has a very sleek design, and it's very user-friendly compared to the US oneOther than that, the modem does its job and once you have it set up correctly, the wireless signal is very strong! I get power, dsl, wlan, 2 LAN leds but no Internetanyone know the manual settings?------------------------------------------------------------------------
