I use it for occasional backups, and it does that. Having checked, Kingston's site before purchasing, I knew this wouldn't be the fastest, but I liked TigerDirect's listed price. Besides, the new PC I'm using it on is USB 2.0,so I knew it would be faster than on my old system. I know erases are slower on flash than on HDD, but it does take some getting used to the long erase times. Memory sticks seem to erase faster. The cap is easy to lose. I like that there's a light to let you know when ops are in progress. |

I ordered this to use on my desktop to speed up my boot time. Now I will most likely use it on my xbox360 since they will be releasing an update that will allow the use of memmory cards to save game data. |

great flash drive, works right away out of the box, fast, and very sturdy. mine went though the washer and dryer and is fine. i also find that the white cap serves as a great reminder that your flash drive is plugged in when you use a computer outside of your home. (i lost my retractable kingston). GREAT PRODUCT!!! |

I bought two of these for me and believe me or not, one of them had auto-installing malware on it. Both were packaged and sealed. I called customer service and they sent out a replacement immediately and let me just reformat the bad one and keep it as well. Otherwise, this flash drive is very simple and functional. Decent transfer rates. |

When I saw this I bought one because I needed one to back up my financial data. The price was right and the name (Kingston) is reliable. It got here fast and setup was a breeze. Just plug it in. I backed up all the data I needed to in a matter of seconds. All in all, Great product, Great price and a reliable name in Kingston. |

Nothing fancy here, not much to break except for the cap that could get lost. Probably a good trade off vs. the slide or hinged USB connectors on some others. |

This is a good deal from here on a Kingston Data Traveler. What can I say, but... it's a Kingston! I used this to keep photos on. My wife takes A LOT of pictures and leaves them on my desktop to slow down the computer and to DRIVE ME CRAZY!!! This is a quick and simple solution. This is easier for her to carry around than a external hard drive! It is so easy to use and fits neatly in her purse (As if you can fit ANYTHING neatly in that mess!) that she can share her photographic genius with everyone..oh, boy! Now, I have gotten rid of the space eating pictures and videos and she has somewhere to store them. Thanks TigerDirect! |

Have had no problems with or using on Mac OS, Vista, XP. Also no problem with USB 1.1 vs 2.0, granted 1.1 a bit slow, but reasonable. With the price of these drives changing daily can be a bit of a problem getting a good price, only down side. |

Bought 2 of these. Tough, rugged, works in most older USB 1.1 and newer USB 2.0 systems. Good transfer rates. No problem with Vista ReadyBoost. |

Brought this for my husband as a stocking stuffer for Xmas. He takes lots of pictures and needed to store them some place other than his computer hard drive. He was able to put all his pictures from his pc on this drive with lots of room for more. He loves it. Good price, portable and a large storage device. |

I used Kingston Memory before and never had problems so I got 2 of these flash drives, works like it should and is fast for me for quick files transfers from Desktop to Laptop or transfer files to work, lots of room to spare, I had other brands and had problems with transfers. I am getting more and giving away others ones I have. I like Kingston products.
