Cons: These are the common USB 2 variety which are slow - but great for mailing with HD pictures and video. Set writes for overnight..They look really pretty, but soon mark (scratch) up when used, even from USB slots.
Pros: My two appear to be working OK.I got them on sale for just over $20, so super value.They are a great way of mailing pictures and video which now are of pretty large size.Super warranty and I've never had any issues with products from this manufacturer. |
When it comes down to sending pictures and video, for people to just insert in a computer and view - it's hard to beat these tiny thumb drives at $20+ on sale. Usually mail doesn't go missing and so I include two of these so one makes it through any X-ray machines. Relatives deleting and putting their pics on to email to me solves any issues. If I would take time to explain parity files then using Quickpar to add such files would mean that just one of these should work fine to mail for even less.My buddy is still using my really old Kingstons which are well past warranty, and I use some for trying out Linux distros. All still working well.
