Does the job of duplicating you're primary display. You can not run a VGA display via this cable! I necessary to run 1 display in DVI and a second in VGA. I believed this may well do the job but it does not.It will only perform with two DVI monitors.

Looks cool. see "other thoughts" I originally purchased this so I can connect it to my monitor for the PC and the X-box 360. so when I have the Xbox 360 off I can use the monitor and vice-versa. it did not works as I had hoped cannot split in between 2 signals as i thought it would. I gave it two stars mainly because its a paperweight now. Im sure it will serve a person elsa a various purpose.
