These LED displays look great. I noticed a huge difference between the LCD and LED displays. The LEDs had better blacks and were much sharper. It's too bad about the flimsy wobbly stand because otherwise this would EASILY be the best value in a 20" display at NCIX when on sale. |

Price When Not On Sale
Pros: LED, Deep Blacks, Low Wattage, Light Weight and Slim Comment:
Just hooked this up, comes with DVI and VGA cables and the picture is crisp bright and clear. Love the deep blacks that it offers also the slim design...very small footprint. Of course at 1600X900 this isn't a huge display but is still very sufficient at offering web pages and games to display large enough. I find it very easy to read web sites. Again the price is somewhat high however the LED backlight does offer a very nice display. On sale though that is where this purchase was a no brainer. I'll give this monitor 5 stars because this was the size I wanted plus the colours and overall clarity didn't need any tweaking out of the box. |
This replaced one of my 2 Samsung monitors that crapped out after 3 years. I should have paid attention to the native resolution of 1600x900 as my other Samsung (that this monitor sits beside) is 1680x1050. Also, the bezel has an extra 1/4" flair that appears to be needless. Having a dual monitor setup, this is a bit of a disappointment. That said, the brightness, clarity and sharpness blows away the other Samsung. For the sale price of a C-note, it's hard to go wrong. As a single monitor, for the price, 5 stars. But since I use this in a dual setup, 4 stars for the large bezel.
