Relatively solid extruded aluminum case; includes all needed cables, screw sorts (with spares), even contains a screwdriver! Plastic stand is rather flimsy, integrated screwdriver isn't seriously the ideal size; my USB A-to-USB B cable was defective. Out of the box, not too impressive, light and flimsy. Additional screws for drive and case were a huge plus. Integrated screwdriver is a fantastic notion but the tip is too smaller and the handle is as well narrow to get great torque. With drive installed and the back secured with screws, the case companies up nicely. Included stand doesn't grip the enclosure well and remains flimsy - don't rely on it to hold the unit secure on a desk. At 1st Windows intermittently recognize the unit. Integrated USB cable was undesirable. With replacement from the totally free-range USB cables breeding box in the workplace the drive has been flawless. Transfers on a 2. port appear slightly slower than others I've utilised, not sufficient to impact day-to-day use.4 stars may well seem higher based on the above but it does what I required. If you require stronger, a lot more secure enclosure, contemplate others 1st.

It works excellent. The 1 that I have is an older model and I have had a number of drives in it - all of them worked flawlessly. None. Some USB ports that I applied are not powered sufficiently to use it with out its power supply becoming plugged in. Other than that it has worked plugged in all the time for about a year now.

Could not be any less difficult to set up. If you have difficulties with this, you should remain away from points as complex as lace-up shoes and butter knives. None so far. If I truly had to be picky, I would say the stand is a bit flimsy but it functions.

decent high quality, easy to install base holder is type of flimsy and could snap, little green screwdriver is useless. (on second thought it does work on tightening my glasses) For me external drives are for storage & backup only and not left on for really long. Like other externals I have if left on for hours they do get fairly hot.
