Pros: Reliable, easy setup, works well
Comment:
This was a great refurb buy. For $70 and with plenty of great reviews it was a no brainer. It's been trouble free so far. One of the first things I enjoyed was easily finding the setting to disable the flashing activity lights. It also looks cool :)

Pros: Great range, good throughput easy setup.
Comment:
Paid $70 to replace a Trendnet router that was having issues keeping youtube videos playing in back bedrooms. To start I connected it up further away to be closer to my PC. Once I had the iDevices connected and laptops and phones I never had to move it back closer to the bedrooms. Great range and easy setup. I have at least 10 devices connected and all work great throughout the entire house. Streaming simultanious videos via youtube or netflix no problem. Too cold to check the range outside :)

Cons: No detachable antennas.

Pros: Grate price, nice and fast wireless.
Comment:
This is a good buy for the price. I got mine on sale for $70. I have 1 dead gigabit port all ready. Wireless range is grate but would be nice if it had detachable antennas. I recommend flashing the firmware with a free open source one to take full atvantage from this router.

Cons: Heat

Pros: Works great, no lag anymore, embedded media server.
Comment:
After getting a faulty device at first, the replacement has been working well. Although it heats quite a lot, it works very well with several devices connected to it. My old D-Link kept failing with more than 4 devices connected at once, and I haven't experienced that with this router. The embedded media server works well, but I experienced some lag with over the air HD movies. Overall, I'd recommend this product, something I wouldn't have said after getting the first unit which wasn't working even if it was "recertified".

Cons: Not that I can think of

Pros: Low profile, much more reliable than the old linksys that it replaced
Comment:
My old linksys router was disconnecting itself every few days, so after a bit of searching, I decided to buy this one.It does what it suppose to do, and it looks nice.I would buy this again no doubt.

Pros: Fast. Streams HD media with no probs. Fast / easy set up with Cisco connect software.
Comment:
I bought a WDTV streaming media player for my TV and could not connect it to my network via Ethernet cable so used wireless connection via my D-Link WBR-2310 router. However the slow signal speed from my D-Link would cause HD video to stall / buffer a lot. I bought this Linksys E4200 refurb router and can report that it wirelessly streams HD video to my WDTV box with no delays stalling / buffering. Works great for me.

Cons: no indication light in the front, set up needs cable

Pros: Sleek look, very fast, good range
Comment:
My old Linksys WRT54G router doesn't impress me much anymore. It needs reboot every now and then and disconnects if I download torrent for longer period of time. The speed never reaches the ISP claim. So I bought this E4200 to replace it. The initial setup wasn't as easy as what described on the CD where says it'll automatic configure, it didn't! PC can't connect to the router wirelessly, I ended up hooking the router to PC to set up, it worked. The range is satisfactory, my PC in two rooms away got full signal, and the speed boost is night and day! I have 20M cable service but usually got 500k download speed with my old G type router, now with the N I can reach 1.7M and it doesn't disconnect after a whole night download. The USB media share is sweet now I can hook the external HDD and every PC in my house can access it, but the transfer speed is just around 2mb/sec I guess this is due to my G type adapter, and I'll change them to N type so it should keep up the speed.Again very satisfied on 1st day use. If there's any issue I'll report back.

Cons: Unit does get a little warm, nothing overly concerning unless you have it in a cramped space.

Pros: Easy to setup, typical Linksys menu's. Great performance and features
Comment:
After 10 years of service, I bought this unit to replace my slowly dying WRT54G (which still works but it has it's iffy days), nice to see Linksys still keeps their setup menus relatively the same. I updated to latest firmware without hassle, performance is really good, wireless strength is solid - I have the unit upstairs on the floor next to a TV and I can get 60% wireless strength from my basement about 50+ feet away from where the unit is located.I would definitely buy another one of these with the price being so low.

Pros: -Fast, reliable, easy setup, cheap for a high end router

definitely bang for your buck but when I place a device in DMZ, my ip settings go crazy and I lose internet connectivity on all devices. So no DMZ for me.... random issues with dropped connection on 3rd floor but meh no wireless is perfect anymore...

Cons: None I can find so far.

Pros: Great wireless range, USB for network drive or printer, guest accounts(can't acces your LAN), super fast speeds LAN and WAN to name a few.
Comment:
I've had a lot of luck with remanufactured units. They usually fix any bugs and last longer than a new unit. I got a V1 and updated to 1.04 OFW. As far as I know there was a power supply issue that was redesigned for the V1 and that is why the remanufacture label. This may not be the only problem that was fixed though. I get great LAN speeds and can do heavy downloads on two computers while straming video. This would be great even for a medium size business. I had a D-link 624i and a Belkin SURF N 300 router. I'll never buy another Belkin product again. It was worse than my older D-Link router in every way. They contract out a company from India for customer service and wanted me to pay them to help because my speeds were so low.I just noticed 1.05 OFW is out and I may update, although I don't see the neeed to yet. Haven't tried DDRT WRT or Tomato yet. This is the best deal for a router of this performance! Compare this to a $150-$200 router, now at $59.99?? Thats an Insane price!

Cons: None Yet

Pros: Wow, I have been looking for a decent router for a DDWRT or Tomato setup and when I saw this on sale I couldn't resist. Only the Verion 1 supports DDWRT.
Comment:
I upgraded from the Bell Wireless N router and what a difference. I was amazed by the performance and speed. I could not believe it did not drop  any connections. 5 Laptops and 6 Cell Phones and 3 TV's and 2 XBOX fully loaded without any reboots. I upgraded the firmware just recently to the latest Cisco Firmware and I am so pleased by it. I want to use the router first and max out all of its capabilities before I flash it with DDWRT. The reason why I haven't done it yet is because DDWRT has some bugs right now.So if you are thinking of purchasing this router don't hesitate because It will amaze you.Keep in mind that I still have my Bell Wireless N router setup as an AP on the downstairs floor. The upstairs has the E4200... However you can connect to any.. I have setup a guest account for those who come over....Cheers.

Cons: dont know when something will fail since it is a recertified

Pros: usb port, great value for the price, stable
Comment:
For me the router has been working great, no issues so far, but that is different for everyone since it is a recertified. I love how cheap is was and for that price having an usb port is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who is on a tight budget and wants to push their penny to the extra mile.

The router is installed in my room upstairs and my wireless signals are great ran a speed test i get 32mbps down and just over 1mbps up. My wired connection get the same thing so no loss in speed anywhere in the house.I have rogers 32mbps internet connection. Make sure you set your wirless channel your self, play with the wireless channel by doing soeed test and set it to the one that works best for you.I didnt need to use the disc to setup. Is easy but for a complete noob you can use the disc to setup, but even after that u would go into setting and setup the wireless channel.

Cons: Had a faulty power supply, had to be replacedI'm not able to connect to the 5Ghz band. It turns out that the 802.11n wireless card in my Lenovo laptop and in my Apple devices are all b/g/n, and that you need an 802.11a/n card in order to utilize 5Ghz.

Pros: Good value, gets excellent reviews
Comment:
Purchased an E4200 v1 refurbished model, however I had immediate problems with the power supply, the router had trouble keeping power unless I held the power connector firmly in place with my fingers. And this morning it wouldn't power up at all.Took her back to NCIX and received a replacement immediately, and it worked great out of the box. Flashed the device with Toastman Tomato v1.28.0500.5 STD (tomato-E4200USB-NVRAM60K-1.28.0500.5MIPSR2Toastman-RT-N-Ext.bin), and I've been happy with the performance.

Cons: internal antennas

Pros: Value, speed, stability, firmware upgrade capability, USB
Comment:
Ran this on the stock firmware for a while, as it has a convenient guest wireless capability. It was stable and quick, though some of my devices had trouble staying connected with the 5GHz band (not sure why). Then I found I needed a second SSID and wanted to have better control over access times etc., so I installed TomatoUSB firmware.Range could be better, probably due to the internal antennas, however if I had to mount it higher on the wall it wouldn't look too bad.Making a VLAN to divide the network into two subnets works beautifully with Toastman's Tomato distribution, and I'm just using a flash drive in the usb port as a mini-NAS for a convenient drop-point.This is a great value, a very powerful setup (once you upgrade the firmware) for a bargain.

Cons: no wall mount, heats up quicky

Pros: can be flashed with Tomato or other aftermarket firmwares
Comment:
bought this at a special price as my existing WRT54GL router was coming of age and I did not want to see a failure without having a backup ready. Now the E4200 is my main router and I am happy with it after having flashed Tomato on it. Pay attention to buy a V1, the V2 is a different hardware platform and not compatible with Tomato, DDRWT, OpenWRT and others at the time of writing.
