Quiet and sufficient cables for practically any build. The cpu cord just reaches my motherboard in the Antec LanBoy. If you are putting this into a bottom mounted case then obtain an extension cable for the cpu power.

My program has in no way failed or faltered or something with this PSU. It has a genuinely nice fan and I have in no way had a problem with heat. It has adequate cables to help all of the hardware I have in my pretty substantial technique. By Antec, which is a quite trusted organization. Has a lot of peripheral cables, which is fantastic since I have a lot of case fans. Really energy efficient and 80Plus. It is non-modular which can make cable management an situation depending on your case and if there is a place to store the cables you are not making use of. It only has TWO PCI-E cables and that implies that I can't get any a lot more PCI-E hardware with no getting a different energy provide! If it had three or 4 it would be better. I have had this PSU for a year and have Under no circumstances had a problem. I consider it was really worth the funds simply because I am acquiring my 650 watts without employing as significantly electricity as other PSUs. If you are gonna have Quad CrossfireX or more than two drives than you ought to definitly get a greater powered PSU but if you do some gaming, but not also graphics intensive, a fair amount of storage, and have a a great CPU, this PSU will be ideal. Uncomplicated to install, the person connections are numbered. The price tag was decent. So far it's working fine. Perhaps for those who are employing SLI or Crossfire and adding in some further cards that want more PCI power connections may come across their alternatives limited. But on the Computer I installed the PSU on didn't need it. It's a good PSU for the value, if you need to have a PSU upgrade for Some Videocards and other slots it's a decent purchase.

I have personally bought 5 of these and all 5 are still up and running w/o challenge. Two of them are carrying out SLI. 1 with GTX 560s and 1 with GTS 250s and six SATA HDDs. Each in Antec Nine Hundred Two circumstances. The other 3 Antec 650s are in single graphics card machines. Two are becoming employed with EVGA 680i boards with overclocked CPUs and Antec Nine Hundred and Antec Nine Hundred Two cases. The other Antec 650 is in an older rig. None. The rig with GTX 560s in SLI is on an ASUS P6X58D-E with an I7 930 clocked at 3.7Ghz. The other one particular is an ASUS Sabertooth X58 with an i7 950 at 3.9Ghz. Both rigs are fully steady. The GTX 560s rig is heavily utilised for gaming hence the GTX 560s. The other one with the GTS 250s I am employing to kind this evaluation. I don't do a lot of gaming.I was slightly concerned about working with the Antec 650 with the two GTX 560s in SLI. I did some analysis and located that the frequent consensus was that a quality 550W PSU could deal with the two GTX 560s in SLI.Time will inform if pushing the Antec 650 too challenging will shorten it's lifespan. The rig now running the GTX 560s was running the GTS 250s. It's had the 560s in it for about a month. It's been running SLI (one way or another) for about a year now.

Two SATA power lines and two with four-pin plugs. I originally believed there were too numerous 4-pin connectors, but I ended up employing each and every 1 due to fans, and so on. in the case. Enough energy for anything I've got. None With bottom mount situations, you'll probably want an 8" extension on the 8-pin power cable to route comfortably about the MB.

Great price, higher powers, efficient, active PFC. 3 - 12 V rails need minimum .5 A loading every, and docs don't say which rails energy which connectors. Purchased this as future-proof replacement for low cost case fan which may have contributed to dead MB. Had to uncover rail information elsewhere: From Jonnyguru.com: 12V1 - eight and 4 pin ATX12's, 12V3 - PCIE's, 12V2 - every little thing else. I have no PCI-E loads so couldn't use the PSU, returned for charges.

Fantastic power provide for cost when it was on sale. Did anything I required to know and was gold with providing power to almost everything I required. Now comes the con for me. I rated this product fourǛ rather of fiveǛ since soon after a year of use there is a challenge. The fan from the power supply makes a higher pitched buzzing sound and this is with just common use. I've attempted everything from reinstalling it, to checking the screws and dusting it out with a spraying duster. I am in the middle of going through Antec to replace the item and am waiting to hear back from them. *Update incoming for how it goes*
