didn't need to use included CDs for drivers. Win7 Ult x64 picked it up right away. Haven't tested HDMI yet, but looks promising.

I bought this card to replace one I had in my old machine. I put it in, and it immediately killed performance on that machine. Drivers wouldn't install or load correctly. I ended up not using it in that machine and putting it in a brand new computer I purchased. The drivers still won't load right in the new computer with Windows 7 and it won't run Aero graphics. Overall, I would not buy this card again.

Took a while to get up and running. Had driver problems with a Win7 64 system. I lost 3D, Aero, and Media Player video capability for some reason - unsigned drivers?. Finally loaded the abosolute latest ATI catalyst software, version 10.4, and it seems to be working. Keeping my fingers crossed.

this is a good product if used for light gaming or any media playing, so if you want a pretty good cheap card this is it.

I bought this to keep my integrated graphics card from sucking up 512MB of my RAM and it was well worth it. I just completed a new rebuild and I only bought 4MB of RAM but I needed all of it to install a 64 bit OS so this graphics card was the best solution. The only drawback is that it doesnt have a fiber optic port to go with its HDMI port but its not that big of a deal and its worth the money.

This works good for an alternative to a motherboard video. READ carefully about the size of the board. In my optiplex 760 the api slot is too close for the low profile with takes up two spaces, those metal slots you can take out. So I just didnt use any metal attachemts, which screw nicely on to the board. I just unattached the vga connection and moved it the other direction.

Pros : great value for money at sale price, silent, no worry about failing fan, easy install. Cons : width of card eliminates one PCI slot, difficult to get HDMI audio output to work on XP machine.

I bought this card in order to replace the one originally shipped with my 3 year old Acer desktop. It took a good amount of time in order to get the right deal, and think it does not get any better than this (counting on the rebate). Since I was getting it to replace one with a noisy broken fan, this was a great solution, as it is silent as a whisper. Performance is probably below what I expected but then, my power supply wouldn't take more in any case (300W)... Would I buy it again? Yes.

My main reason for choosing this card was to build a silent computer. Good software and runs videos on my HD widescreen TV through the HDMI port on the card. Great Buy!

Great card works fine, Heat sink is very thick will block a PCI port make sure you wont need that slot below the video slot. Rebate was joke, online forms thay charge you 1.00 for instant processing (1 week) of your re-bate and send you a check if you want your full rebate fill out the forms and mail them back and wait 8 weeks. Cost of ink paper stamps What a racket....

I really didn't see a major difference in performance , surely an upgrade from before I installed it , there's no question about that .

I actually overlooked the fact that this card was fanless. A great feature for those trying to keep the fan volume down. Works great, can play all but the more recent games no problem.

I got this card with a barebones system and it's not bad I did have some overheating issues,in fact I've had to modify it with an old CPU fan, with the fan on it, it has no problam with heat. After fitting the fan I have been able to put the settings all the way and still havn't had an issue.

I bought this for a dual boot system (XP Pro and Vista Business, 32 bits) with an HD TV for a monitor. It was important that I could send both audio and video to the TV via the HDMI port. It was also important to have overscan compensation (without it, the edges of the desktop would be off the screen). I also wanted support for 1080p. I had to go to the ATI site to find the latest drivers (ASUS didn't have them at theirs). With the latest drivers (be sure to get the HDMI audio drivers for XP) everything I wanted was there. It tooks some tweaking in Catalyst Control Center to get 1080p working. To get audio over HDMI working you must select ATI HD audio as your sound device in control panel and then reboot before it takes effect. The heatsink is huge and prevents me from using my PCIe x1 slot. I was planning to put a TV tuner card there. Oh well, the PCI slots are still open.

I put this in my HTPC. You really can't complain about a $26 HDMI video card. The picture is good on my 42 inch LCD TV. I only have two issues: (1) While the card supports HDMI audio, setup can be tricky. Their drivers out of the box didn't work for me on XP Pro. (2) I like the no fan aspect, but the heat sink is large. I had to grind some off the heat sink to clear a capacitor on the motherboard. The heat sink was easily removed from the card and reinstalled for the alteration.

I am not a gamer so this card works great. I love the dual monitor feature as it does it well especially when I want to watch a movie, all I do is watch movie on TV via HDMI and Wife can still be on PC surfing the net with no interference. It was a bit of a trouble to figure out how to get sound via the HDMI to TV but got it after trial and error. For those having the problem all you need to do is download the latest ccc driver from ATI not ASUS. After installation restart pc. Then go to control panel then sounds, there you will see ATI HDMI Output. I might say it is not plugged in but all u have to do is make sure your screen resolution it says extend this display. For the sound all you have to do is set the ATI HDMI Output to default. Hope this help. All in all it does the job very well.

I purchased this ASUS Video Card with the objective of supportin dual monitors on my Dell Optiplex PC which I had recently upgraded to Windows 7. The Matrox card which I had been using was not supported by Windows 7. To my surprise this inexpensive video card installed easily and worked out of the box with no effort. Both monitors came up right away after one reboot. I highly recommend this video card if your objective is dual monitors.

I wanted to be able to view videos from my computer on my TV but didn't want to spend a ton of money. This card was the answer and the rebate was a bonus. I am a DIY'er with no computer training and found I the software is easy enough to figure out and the set-up was easy I although I needed an update to get the computer to send the audi signal to my TV through the HDMI jack. All in all I'm happy.

It looks like a decent card, since it's quiet and that is a real plus, but was unable to fit it in my pc express slot since it is NOT a low profie design, even though it indicates that it is. Use care ordering as you will need an adagcent empty expansion slot to make room for the heat sink which takes up about 1.5 inches of space.
