Pros: Fast, easy to set up/install, supports cross-fire and LOTS of ram! Comment:
I bought this for a PC build where money was a limitation. Sometimes using it for a game (FPS) and sometime watching video. Not running in Crossfire mode.System checks shows 1GB ram installed for Video but I know it's a 512MB DDR3 configuration. I get up to 128 FramesPerSec on WarRock almost 95% of the time!Great starter vid-card!! |

It is what it is, a lower range, inexpensive card best suited for a PC thats not going to be doing a lot of intense 3D gaming. Although it will handle games at lower resolutions and with the eye candy turned down. But thats not the purpose of this card, not for me anyway, the purpose is strong desktop performance with aero interfaces, HD media playback, built in audio and HDMI out. This is an ideal HTPC card, and its great for tight cases because of its low profile and it also comes with a low profile bracket. It does exactly what I bought it for and does it well. |
Purchased this card for a Dell Studio Slim desktop (Intel 9550/8gig DDR2 PC-800). With the low 250W PSU, it requires a low power, and more importantly low profile w/ short brackets.She plays Sims3 and does mild photoshop (etc) and the card works ok for it's purpose.For someone who needs a cheap card for a HTPC (with hdmi), or low profile, this is an excellent choice.
