Cons: Stiff cables inconvenientCan be unbelievably challenging to install it

Pros: Awesome coolingCheap and great quality+10 awesome for your build
Comment:
This heatsink is really efficient and really good looking with my G.Skill RAM and blue fans. The radiator collects a lot of dust but so does the rest of the computer so it's no big deal.It took myself and 2 other friends to tighten it down onto the board, so when you're installing it make sure you've got something firm and clean to press against the back for stability. The tubes that connect the radiator to the part that attaches to the CPU are SOOO inflexible I can't even close my computer case. Apart from that it's completely self contained so just plug it in and turn everything on. Oh yeah, and make sure you read the instructions so you don't break it or your build. I strongly recommend this to a friend provided their case is big enough. Would definitely buy again.

Cons: Fan a little bit noisyPump vibration

Pros: Cool's fineCompactVery easy installation
Comment:
Installation of this item was a very easy... Had to replace the fan, since the one included cools fine but makes way to much noise for my taste! Had to send it back for RMA, because the pumps vibrate way too much. In a fractal design refine XL i can ear the vibration from 10 feet away... Hope the next one does vibrate that much...

Cons: No mention of best orientation for installation

Pros: Easy Installation, Promised Performance, Quiet
Comment:
Could not have asked for a better pre-plumbed water cooling setup ... It was a breeze to install once I figured out the best orientation ... The temps dropped by over 5 degrees when idle and over 10 degrees under load ... The systems is quiet ... Will highly recommend the product !!

Cons: None

Pros: PerformanceSilentEasy installMounting system
Comment:
Between this and the H50 I went with the ECO because of the better mounting system, and the swivel connectors. The H70 has the latter but was more bulky than I wanted. The performance of this thing is great, and it's dead silent at the same time. I replaced the stock fan with 2 Noctua fans in push pull, but even with the stock setup I could not hear it. The mounting system is very easy to use, and holds it down very secure. The tubes are indeed quite stiff, but I had no issues installing it into my Antec 902. It may not be much better than the best air coolers but I am glad to have the extra space in my case, and the silence.

Cons: Fan is loud, even with PWMFan makes clicking sound

Pros: Pump is silentKeeps my cpu coolInexpensive water-cooling solutionLooks sleekRad is made of good build qualityEasy to install
Comment:
Running a Phenom II X3 with unlocked 4TH core and overclocked from 2.6GHz to 3.25GHz. Runs cool at 55C under 100% load running Prime95 for 10 hours. Runs cool at 33C idle. I'm using a Thermalright X-Silent 140mm fan as the exhaust though, under a pull configuration. I stopped using the eco's fan, because it was annoyingly loud even with PWM, and made a clicking sound when undervolted. So I mounted the rad to the top-interior of my case, and attached the 140mm fan to the top-exterior of the case. Works wonders.

Cons: -Cooling power (compared to Water or TEC)-It's a bit difficult to mount.

Pros: -Cooling power (compared to Air)-Noise level (quite quiet with Q-Fan turned on)-Price-Made in Canada :D
Comment:
I got this heatsink because it was in the same price range as good air coolers, but has better performance. It's quiet. It keeps my CPU temps within 10C of ambient when idle, and they don't increase all that much under load. Oh - did I mention I have a 1055T?It was quite difficult to mount on my AM3 board - the backplate kept falling off before I could get any screws in, so I had to have another person help me.Don't expect the same performance under load as you'd get from a dedicated loop with a 240mm rad - but this thing is pretty good compared to air coolers in the same price range.Mine doesn't have a "gurgle" or any other issues. I'm happy with it. I just hope it lasts close to the manufacturer's MTBF. :P Some people have apparently had them fail much earlier.

Pros: QuietIncludes AM3 brackets (unlike Corsair)Excellent Cooling
Comment:
Installed this on an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T in a Gigabyte 890FXA-UD5 motherboard. Originally I was going to buy the Corsair Cooling Hydro water cooler, but then I found out you had to pay extra for the AM3 brackets then wait for them to be shipped to you! Instead I bought the Coolit and I couldn't be happier.Installation was easy, the system runs quiet and the CPU temperature under load never exceeds 43C! I'm sure the overclocking headroom of this cooler is significant if it can cool this cpu this well, but unfortunately this system is not going to be overclocked.

Cons: Fan radiator assembly is quite BIG so check the dimensions and compare taht to your case's layout before buying.

Pros: Works superbly, and so so quiet...A must have.
Comment:
Use the screws to tighten the heatsink its easier, and check there full tighness using the turning knoblike things...Works great to reduce temps by 11C on my Q6600 which I now overclock to 4G without worry as before temps were 66 now ony 51 to 56. I had to make new holes for the radiator screws as my case had smaller fans before.Shipping at NCIX is top notch. I ordered this product yesterday AM and got it to day by Purolator (the cheapest shipping option too). Toronto to Moncton NB

I dont regret getting one when its on sale. It performed very well and *knock on wood* it hasnt leaked yet. It's very well built and i would definitely get another one if the price was right.

Pros: very good coolingquiet
Comment:
It is cooling my i5 750, and I'm surprised by how well it can cool under harsh condition. My system has i5, 5870, atx psu crammed in sg06, and this cooler can keep cpu temp below 70 at worst possible situation. When installing, one of the screws didnt go in properly so cpu didnt have good touch base. I had to push pretty hard to get the last screw in.

Cons: Would like to have a 2nd optional fan included in that package

Pros: Very easy installReasonable fan
Comment:
Bought 2 of the ECO units and 2 of the H50 units. All of which were installed onto i7 920/930 CPU's.Out of the box, the ECO installed much faster and cooled better than the H50 setups.A 2nd fan for a push pull setup would be an very nice addition, but the lack doesn't make or break this cooler.

Cons: - Cord was so short on the heatsink, had to flip the device for it to reach- How do I mount a second fan? No screw or instructions.- Stuff tubes giving less flexibility it install

Pros: - a lot quieter then a high FPS fan- Take less room then a big heatsink- Keeps my 930 non OC at 37-41c on idle- My case has sidefan, so air still gets pushed on my MOBO
Comment:
On stock at 2.8GHZ my temp of my 930 is about 41c, with prime running for about 5 minutes the temp is 55-59c... The cable on the heatsink couldnt reach any of my fan connectors, so I had to flip the device 180 degrees. I also do not like how unflexible the tubes are, it would put lots of stress on my mobo/cpu if I installed the fan in another direction.

I picked this up a couple of months ago and finally put it in my new rig. It was hard to mount the first time, but pulling out my RAM and GPU could have helped... Anyway, it took me a few more mounting attempts to get the temperatures down right. Im running an i7 875k (stock) at 29C, 52C on Prime95 load. Pretty reasonable for a 'faux' water-cooling setup. I remember reading that the i7 870 runs at 40C at idle with the stock cooler... so no complaints. I scrapped off the pre-applied paste and put down some arctic silver for good measure. It's fairly quiet, and not that noticeable when the fan does creep up in the RPM's. Looks great, matches my EVGA FTW 200 and the rest of my black parts inside. My one concern is that more and more higher-end board's are having some resistors being built closer and closer towards the mounting bracket. I know these are extremely close on mine, and I wonder if this cooler/pump sits low enough where it could be in contact and become and issue in the future.

Ok guys here are the numbers.I have a QuadCore Intel Core i7 920, 2785 MHz (21 x 133)Stock but have OC to QuadCore Intel Core i7 920, 4200 MHz (21 x 200). RAM DDR 3 runing at 1600MHzo 8/8/8/24. I was looking for something to replace my Freezer Extreme air cooler. I review many air coolers and the Corsair H50. I was impressed with the design of the H50 but didn't like 2 things. 1) The recommended airflow is to bring air from outside to the inside of the case. That would mean I would have to change the other case fans. 2) I didn't like the look of the mounting hardware. I am sure it’s ok but the Coolit ECO A.L.C. looked like it would do a better job. So with my old Freezer Extreme and the system OC, I recorded the following with air temperature at 22°C At idle 40°C and full load 85°CWith the Coolit ECO A.L.C. in a push pull config. Second fan is a Antec Tricool Blue LED fan running at ~2000rpm and with air temperature at 22°C At idle 34°C and full load 69°C.Note I lower the RPM on the second fan to 1300 and there was a 2°C increase in temperature. My next step is to get a Cooler Master Haf X Full Tower EATX Case and mount the rad at the top to see if it improves air flow. Please note that my windows 7 coreparking is turn off so none of my cores are shut down to save power.

Cons: Might be a bit difficult to installConvex base which doesn't work as good with Core 2 Quads

Pros: Very good tempsPrice/Performance is goodSupports Push/Pull ConfigurationVery quiet pump
Comment:
If you don't want to spend $300+ on a full water cooling setup this is the perfect solution. I bought this many weeks ago and installed it on my overclocked Q9550 c 4.0 GHZ with 1.360 vcore. LinX temps max out at 75C in realtemp with ambient of 22C so that is really good considering how much more power it pulls in LinX versus Prime95 or an actual application or game. The base of the copper is slightly convex so it will work well with chips with one silicon core in the middle such as a Core 2 Duo or i7 (regardless of how many cores it has) but with Core 2 Quads which are basically 2 dual core silicon cores they are spaced roughly 4-5mm apart from eachother so heat is not generated exactly from the center but rather from half way between the center of the IHS and the side of the IHS on both sides. Regardless, it still cools the chip well. I might lap it to see if it a makes a difference. Overall, a good buy.

Comment:
Ok first of all despite the fact Cool IT states installation is easy its not. Yeah steps 1,2,3 are straigthforward but very vague, especially the part regarding screwing it in its place. When you attach it to the CPU use a screwdriver not hands! You need to rotate until screws reach the middle otherwise it wont work proplerly.Using PRIME 95 CPU reaches 80C in 5 minutes but good thing is it stays there. On idle I get approx 50-55 which is OKTook some time to install ( reinstalled two times)p.s. Maybe its just me but I think instruction should be more clear precise

Cons: -stiffness of the waterpipe.-stock fan abit loud and not so efficient.

Pros: -quiter then my old ZALMAN CNPS 9500 AM2.-few more degree lower not by alot.-low price on sale!
Comment:
The reason I brought this product is to replace my old ZALMAN CNPS 9500 AM2 heatsink and use it on my other computer, and the price are quite cheap for a watercooler, so if your looking for a great cooling fan or watercooler that will dramatically drop  the temp of your cpu then this is not the heatsink for you!! if just 3 or 4c that your concern about/would like to try water cooling on cpu, then this is the product for you!!

Cons: Getting the sink to thread the backplate can be trickyDO NOT overtighten screws!!!Double sided tape to keep backplate on motherboard

Pros: Good PerformanceNearly universal case compatibilityMuch smaller base than high performance air sinkVery quietRelatively easy installation and good intructions
Comment:
I got this to replace my stock intel HSF on my i7 930, that was too noisy and and "stock" performance.I haven't OC'ed yet, but the stock and load temps dropped between 5 - 10 degrees. Performance is good.Word of warning, do not over-tighten the screws. When I used a screwdriver and really tightened it down, my motherboard would not recognize all 6GB of my RAM (it only saw 4GB). It saw all 6GB with my stock HSF. I loosened the retaining bolts a bit and viola, the 6GB were back. This and the fact that it was a little finicky to thread the retaining bolts is why I don't give it 5 stars.Coolit should add backplate retaining nuts to their design inbetween the back plate and the heatsink, instead of relying on double sided tape to keep the backplate on, and dexterous fingers to get the bolts to thread without damaging the motherboard.

Great cpu cooler kit. works alot better than my old giant metal heatsink that was way to big and impossible to install.keeps my stock amd phenom II x4 940 at 37c idle - 53c playing bc2 using the provided TIM. not needing high rpm fan has also dropped noises level, the pump is whisper quiet.Installation while tricky (installing the rad/fan then cpu block) is a lot easier than my previous air heatsink. On the Fractal Design R2 case I had to remove one of back top fans (140mm) for the radiator to fit.(120mm might but I never tried)Great product, can't wait for the next.
