I bought these originally for the wrong reason, they weren't ugly. Usually I'm one to check out all the specs on audio equipment before I buy it, I was a little nervous when I got them home. So I plugged them in and lo and behold sound came out. Whats more the sound wasn't bad, in fact it was pretty good. Unlike the last pair of cheepo speaker I was replacing the bass doesn't over power everything else, they have good mids, and the highs come out great from a speaker this size and price range. The construction is solid. Truth be told I think this is a better 2.1 speaker set than any that logitech has to offer, not only do they sound as good, they look better than Logitech's ugly and tired product design. I would recommend this at full price, but truthfully it's a steal on sale.
