The best IPS monitor for photo editing at this price. Beware though that HP has shipped this monitor with 2 different panels. The IPS panel, the better one, can be recognized by a sticker on the box that reads REV.GSM002 Also, even with the brightness set to 0, it's still too bright without calibration. Use the video card's software to tweak it further although proper calibration is the way to go. HP has a $50 rebate if purchased now. Check HP's website (business products).
