I bought galaxy note II and used a flip cover first (they didn't have these cases, they only had cover) The flip cover was good, but the sides of the phone were wide open vulnerability for scratches. I bought this case to compensate that insecurity. The case fits perfectly (obviously because it's samsung's own product) The sides of the case were made out of TPU (Hard Plastic) [none of those flimsy, jelly silicon] Over time, the sides didn't stretch and held the phone well. However back of the case was the problem. They should've made a either matte finish or just textured finish to prevent scratching. I bought a sheet of carbon fibre sticker, cut it out and put it on the back. It looks better and doesn't scratch anymore. The ports are good. USB ports were easily accessible and also S-Pen. Only thing that was troubling me was headphone jack. It's large enough to fit most of earphone plugs, but for thicker end cables such as P.A. sound system 3.5mm cable plug was too big to fit through the case. I always had to pull the case off to use it. (Wasn't bothering me much because case was easy to full off, but at the same time case held the phone nicely. Buttons also gave a nice haptic feedback. Forgot to mention, but it also has hole for phone accessories to put on.
