Comment:
works great. keeps charge long time. led light comes in handycharges phone only 90%. must be turn on to charge iPhone + battery pack at same time threw mini usb. only 1 device charges at onceRecommended to only turn it on when the power is low (10%), and not use device until its 30%-40% chargedWhen the iPhone is charging off the battery, the iPhone wastes a lot of power, so its better it charges a bit before heavy use. Also when you first charge the iPhone + battery pack, its recommended you turn the battery pack off, since keeping it on, just makes the iPhone think its plugged in for an extra 4h-8h, and then the iPhone will only last so long when being used 5-7hours talk, 24h+ standby. But if you turn it on when the battery is 10%, then, you get the initial talk time or standby time, then after the phone charges again, you get almost that same talk/standby time again. So if your going to keep the Phone away from the charged for a long time, keep the battery pack off which increases your standby time.THe battery pack charges best when the iPhone is not in use for the first 30%, since the iPhone draws a lot of power the more dead it is. If the iPhone is 0% charged, it will take a while to charge up so it can be used. So I wouldn't let the iPhone go below 10%.THe battery seems to have a long endurance and can be left for 30+ days before needing a charge.I have two of these, so I just switch one out for a charged one, and charge on the go if I need.It would be nice when the iPhone is charing off the battery pack to know it should run in power save mode instead of high cpu mode, helping increase endurance when the power is on, instead the iPhone thinks its plugged in/charging and. (THis is an apple problem)

Cons: You'll get a special port interface good for charging and sync, but useless for those accessories you have that needs the Apple iPhone interface! You have to take the case out.

Pros: Gives you longer standby, talk, net browsing time as well as in car GPS navigation and GPS functionality during long hikes
Comment:
This pack gives me similar standby times like my old non-smart phones, so I don't have to carry a spare APS power pack to charge it; really important for my business. This is also great for the GPS apps I've got (Trails; GMAP car navigation; EveryTrail; G-Park)so I can go on long drives and hikes without worrying of the phone dying! I also carry the same spare APS power pack for even longer battery life. And it's nice to the phone's internal battery since I don't have to recharge it often all the time which helps its own lifespan.
