Cons: really annoying fanbetter alternatives now available

Pros: decent pricelow profileexcellent linux support
Comment:
A decent performing card for normal computer usage, video playback and light gaming. Best bang for the buck - faster than the 210 cards, yet cheap enough not to break the bank. Unfortunately, the fan on this card is extremely annoying - loud, high pitched sound. Still, would have been better to wait and go with the 430 card.

Cons: Loud and usually quite hot.

Pros: Powerful, small, easy drivers, and compatible with GNU/Linux based OSes.
Comment:
This is a good video card if you don't so much mind the noise. It's not very loud, but you can hear a constant loud humming in your case. It handles new games very well though, and does a good job of double-screening.

Cons: Serious gamers will not like

Pros: Low cost, makes most games playable, low power
Comment:
Used this card to replace a defective 8600 card. Some improvment on games with less power usage. Card installed quickly with win7 finding drivers. Runs dual screens fine, and that was my major need. Good value!

Cons: -Not that powerful for graphic rendering-Fan = noise. Passive cooling would have been terrific-Blue PCB kinda sucks on my motherboard (eVGA Classified)

Pros: -Supports PhysX with patched drivers-Low Price
Comment:
I use this card primarly for its PhysX acceleration, with a Radeon 5970 for graphic rendering (Patched drivers needed, see this thread http://www.ngohq.com/graphic-cards/16223-nvidia-disables-physx-when-ati-card-is-present.html)Not that expensive and works pretty well for that kind of stuff! An old GeForce 8XXXX will works too.Enjoy ;)

Cons: ddr 2 memory,

Pros: low power usage for a high preformance card.
Comment:
shocked at how good it works for sutch a lowley bottom feader and in low profile format. Wont draw to much power or creat a lot of heat. Half Life 2 Lost Cost gets around 90 fps maxed everything and Gobal Agenda 25/35 fps q medium rez q 1440x900 with v-synch disabled. According to my GPU-Z sensor log the 1 gb ram the card has, only 256 to 312 mb is actually in use.http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

Cons: Sounds like vacuum cleaner. Very poor thermal paste used by ASUS. Easily fixed with a silent 2 inch case fan and proper thermal paste. Cooling performance actually improved by 10C, and it runs completely silent. An easy fix for 5 dollars but annoying.

Pros: VDPAU Feature set C perfect for Linux HTPC. Good support from Nvidia for Linux drivers. Works flawlessly with XBMC under linux. Full 1080p in any format you can throw at it. Small form factor and very low power consumption.
Comment:
Perfect card for Linux based HTPC... if you are willing to mod. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Seriously, what was ASUS thinking?

Comment:
This card plays fallout 3 without a hitch. The low profile bracket requires the pci express slot to be second from the bottom in order for it to fit into the case. Since my pci Express slot is the at the very bottom it didn't fit. My case sits flat so I didn't secure it with the bracket and it works fine. A picture showing the low profile bracket would have been helpful.

try to replace my old EVGA 8800GS whit this card I tough i was upgrading, but it lower my performance scores on 3D from 580 to 490 on windows 7 ultimate, if you planing to use the low profile bracket you are going to loose a PCI slot in your motherboard .I return this card ,I would not recommend it.just a little better that my on board video (BIOSTAR G41 DVI) that is not to much to talk about it,I waste my time
