Since I never got a chance to use it for more than a day, I can't really comment on the features, etc. But be aware that thanks to the cooling fan, this card is twice as thick as standard cards. If you're like me and can't remove whatever you already have plugged into the adjacent slot, you'll have to get a card with regular dimensions or thickness. This may be apparent to more computer-saavy types, but for the rest of us, I wish this had been made clearer in the description. I'll be offering mine on online soon.

Nice card, easy install, quiet opperation. The only negative thing I have to say is pretty minor the fan on the card has about a third of the intake blocked by a poorly designed cover, although I have not noticed any deliterious affect on performance as yet, it looks kinda hookey.

I bought this card about a month ago, because my previous card was making too much noise. This card is super quiet and has a lot more performance and features i couldn't live without such as the Smart doctor feature, which lets you control the fan settings, and lets you see the current temperature. I can easily max out the settings on my games, and my video editing is a lot smoother.

Great Value. I can now run all the games I like at top settings. Mainly first person shooters.

Cons: Somewhat expensive for its gaming performance. HDMI audio setup procedure not explained in manual.

Pros: Short lenght, low-power, runs very cool and very quiet, NVidia drivers, Asus does more than slap a sticker on reference cards and has someone at the other end of their tech support line.
Comment:
The Asus GT 240 DDR5 is the most powerful NVidia card that fits in my small, crowded case. The 9600GT-level gaming performance (I have read numerous GT 240 reviews) is good enough for casual gaming. It's a well-balanced match with my Athlon 64 X2 5400+. I'm staying with my current build and Windows XP for the next 2 years, so DX10.1 or DX11 is not important. In any case, DX11 graphics would need a more powerful card than the GT240 to be rendered properly.I have looked long and hard at competing ATI product, but I prefer NVidia drivers for their ability to easily create  and scale custom resolutions, which is a priority for me. It's too bad ATI doesn't include this feature in their Catalyst driver, thus making their users fiddle with Powerstrip if they need custom resolutions. Outside of the native resolution, there are very few resolution presets available for widescreen monitors in standard drivers. I'm one of the many people whose eyes have trouble with the high pixel pitch on a 24 inch monitor, for regular desktop use.Getting audio to work through the HDMI connection is tricky: The HDMI cable has to be connected between the videocard and TV/monitor during audio and video driver installation. If you install drivers while being connected via DVI and analog audio, the HDMI audio path will not be detected and there will be no sound through HDMI when you later connect the PC to a TV set through HDMI. In addition, when you want to enable audio through HDMI, you have to go to Control Panel/Sounds/Audio and change the drop-down menu to NVidia HD Audio. I got that information after calling Asus tech support, as it's not explained in the GT 240's user manual. The cooler on the Asus GT 240 DDR5 is exceptional, effectively making the card silent, as it's inaudible over the two other quiet fans in my system. If I let the fan run on Auto, GPU temps will settle in the low sixties °C while gaming. With more conservative fine tuning of the fan speed/temperature profile in the Asus SmartDoctor utility, the GPU temp stays around 55 °C under load, with little added noise. At idle, the GPU temp is hovering around 33-34 °C. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-21-10 08:21 AM

I bought this when I decided I wanted to play games on my media pc. The case only has a 300 watt p.s. in it. This gives me decent performance in some pretty recent games.

I bought this card due to space limitations on my motherboard. I also read some reviews about it's quality and low heat buildup. I am also very impressed with it's software, which allows fan control, as well as core, shader, and memory speed adjustment. Card also clocks down when in 2D mode to save power, which I find excellent!

I bought this as an upgrade to computer that had a Radeon HD 3200 GPU integrated into the motherboard, it was an okay graphics card and I would play FEAR and other FPS games on about medium settings and get about 25 fps at 1024x768. I wanted to upgrade to a dedicated GPU and this deal was amazing for just 79.99, and I'm glad I did, after I upgraded to this card it was incredible. At maximum settings I was getting about 55 fps at 1280x1024. (I think I tried setting my old graphics card to max settings once and I got about 7 fps at 1024x768. lol so there's a big difference!) Can't wait to hook this up to my 24 inch HDTV and play at 1920x1200. W.E.I.: Gaming Graphics:5.8 out of 5.9 , Aero Graphics:5.9 out of 5.9
