This factor runs nearly every single game out now at higher to MAX settings 򜠸 resolution. ASUS has nice product from the packaging all the way up to the heatsink. very nice searching. Idles at 30C in my rig.Maxes out each supply game, BF BC2, Fallout New Vegas, run the STALKER series at nearly max settings. That's all that I have tested in it so far. The card flexes a tiny bit from its weight when sideways in the motherboard. It's not a problem in a desktop, but I would probably take it out if I was going to move it in a bumpy vehicle. New make with GTX 460, AMD 840 Ɣx3.4ghz), 4gb 1333, antec 900 case

My method is by no signifies high end ƒ.16 Core 2 and 2 GB DDR2) but this card allows me to play anything from MW2 to Just Lead to two at best quality with 60 fps! Suggested!

Bought a pair of these more than Thanksgiving buying splurge when sold for 115 following immediate and MIR. Replaced ATI 5670 in bedroom CPU. Was very pleasantly surprised by the efficiency increase and by how quiet the card was in idle and beneath load. Decided to devote a handful of days testing the second card against a single 1GB GTX460 in my gaming rig which had a pair operating. None at all! In my "Test" gaming machine I configured it with 1-GTX460 1GB, ran a series of benchmarks and gaming runs. Then installed the second 768MB card and re-ran the testing. In summary, just a couple of frames much less than a single 256 bit card @ most resolutions and in a position to play up to 1920 x 1200 on most titles (eye candy dependent). Great performance, and for roughly 50% significantly less money. Propose this card for the gamer on a budget, will not disappoint. With Afterburner, received 800Mhz capable cards (both run @ 800Mhz stock cooling). From evaluations I've study, this card will smoke the new nVidia 550Ti across the board. It is a card to choose-up whilst you can.On MIR, chosen Fast Rebate and received it in much less than five weeks soon after obtain. Wish persons wouldn't 1 star a great card due to rebate difficulty.

Low-cost Purchased two cards, a single for me and a single for brother. Brother's was DOA. Mine works poorly; less fps than my old 7900 GS and glitchy. Stalls anytime resizing windows. Driver assistance for win 7 not excellent.

Keeps up with fairly much any game I throw at it and the temperatures are Remarkable. It is 29 degrees suitable now...as I'm writing this, and it doesn't truly go over 50 in games. This is also with a sound card about a fifth of an inch away from the fan. Oh, and infinitely quieter than my old video card. For numerous, the 768mb of RAM could prove to be a dilemma in some games, not most, but some. Also, I ran into a driver challenge with the card that gave me a headache for a handful of days and I am sharing that practical experience with you so that you may well resolve it speedily and be on your marry way. This card decided that it wanted to set up the nVidia HD audio drivers, I have an Asus Xonar DX attached to some 5.1 speakers, I didn't want my monitor speakers to be my new source of all points audio (although the card made some impressive sound through these tiny speakers). In the future I strategy to do a custom set up of all new drivers and not include things like the HD audio. Extended story brief, setting the Xonar to default was not sufficient, I had to uninstall the nVidia Audio drivers, and I disabled them just for very good measure. My frame rates went from the 20s to the 60s and up. So if any individual else is obtaining this problem, I hope this assists! Really solid performer, I upgraded from a GTS 250 and am happy with my selection. I hope you don't run into the concern of slow framerates as I did, but, if you do, I detailed how to repair the dilemma I encountered in the cons.

The gtx 460 is awsome. Resonable value and overclocked well. wonderful probuct I have spent over two hours trying to get HAWX2 registered and working. Software tells me im not connected to web. lol This has been a battle to get from start. My timeis worthwhile and i play to have entertaining not spent time on internet websites downloading computer software. There is no reason for this download ansd set up to be so tricky. 2 hours (probalby a lot more in fact) is unreasonable. Ubisoft can maintain their totally free game and i will retain my money from then in the future. Was looking forward to Crysis two but im maintaining m money and will commit on snother solution. Immagine a two hour service contact price tag. Time invested to register and not play game is insane. Dont bother to reply Ubisoft. If i could have identified a client service connect by e-mail of voice would have vbeen ok but appears you organization is avoiding buyer contack. Excellent card but poor good quality solution from Ubisoft. Only replied right here since of the difficulty in obtaining a place to reply in Ubisoft website.

This thing stays quiet even at my "User Defined" settings in MSI Afterburner. It overclocks like crazy and is currently the ideal overclocking 460 out there. The DirectCU, while odd seeking, was established to overclock the best. With the Intelligent Doctor overclocking tool, I hit a stable 925񳌪񳐤 @ 1.212v and to make items better, it never ever peaks above 55*C with mentioned overclock. It's not that large either. I have to say I'm very pleased all round. Not the finest card if you strategy on utilizing a greater resolution monitor like 1680x1050 and above. The highest I'd go would be 1440x900 and that's it. The memory bandwidth is lacking by comparison to the 1GB version so it's meant for the lesser resolutions. Not a con if you're searching for a card for said decrease resolutions though. :D I have owned both models of the DirectCU, 1GB and 768MB. The 1GB is far superior at stock and even when the lesser card is overclocked as heavily as mine is. The resolution I play at is 1366x768 so it doesn't hinder me in the slightest. Just know that if you play at 1440x900 or below, this card must do you just fine. If you play at any resolution larger than that, get the 1GB model at least. Also, obtaining a DirectCU model, Top edition or not, guarantees a minimum overclock of 850񳊔񳏀 @ 1.087v employing MSI Afterburner. Being aware of this, why not grab 1 for your self? :D

It worked for about a week. Runs hot. Started acquiring blue screens immediately after about a week of use. When I was making use of it it appeared to be a decent card for the cost.I was reluctant to buy an ASUS item due to the fact I have always been a die challenging XFX fan. I broke down although and saw this deal and believed I would give it a attempt. I was in the marketplace for a mid grade card and this one was priced great. Right after about a week of standard standard each day use, I started noticing that it was finding very hot. Upwards of about 70-76 celcius. That's when the blue screens began taking place obviously. It's funny even though that I had two XFX cards in my tank just before and in no way had an issue with heat. My method had usually ran at around 38-42 degrees. I pulled the card out and reinstalled my old card and anything went back to standard. That evening I requested an RMA from Newegg. They were additional than pleased to help unfortunately I had thrown away the outer box and they had no other choice but to send the defected card back to me. They suggested that I contact ASUS for an RMA. I did so and have however to hear from them. It has been a lot more than a week and they claim that an RMA will be issued with 48 hours. This in my opinion is the worst client service you can have. Don't claim you will assist me within a particular time frame and totally ignore me. I am a 1st time customer which from a organization stand point must mean a lot to you. Clearly it doesn't. I have once more requested an additional RMA and hope to hear from you within the 48 hours that you guarantee. At this point when I am asked which grapics card to go with it will undoubtedly not be an ASUS one particular.

This board is sold at a modest price for the characteristics and is a good worth due to the fact of that. It improved my Windows Efficiency score by 1.five points from my earlier card. It runs cool, only 37c. It gives a great quantity of RAM and 336 pipes for pass by means of volume at decrease speeds. No true cons. I had a defective one and Newegg was good at swiftly processing my RMA and inside days I received the replacement which has been operating now for 1 day so far. I don't anticipate any issues. Newegg was good at handling my RMA. I can not say enough good points about their customer service. Thanks.

This card has performed far better than expected. WoW runs at 60fps consistent with maxed vid settings. I'm delighted as hell with it so far. Wasn't packaged with ฤ bills. This card was 1 element of a combo that incorporated an Intel I7 875 Lynnfield CPU. The value was too low to refuse. I admit that, at the time, I felt that I sacrificed with this card as I possibly would have purchased the next larger card if components were separate. I no longer really feel that I sacrificed something. The card performs stellar. As stated in one more overview...do NOT load the GamerOSD application! It helps nothing...it truly lowers the performance. Nvidia drivers and let it rip.

Was extremely affordable when I bought it-has gone up given that. Reasonably quiet for a GPU, but the loudest issue in my case. When a single card, overclocked core, 2000mem with almost no transform in heat output. Purchased a Galaxy 460 768MB to maintain this card organization, also from the 'Egg. The Galaxy card is cooler, and fan spins slower, so tends to make less noise. I suspect the open-design and style of the asus card doesn't work as effectively as the plastic shrouds most card makers use. Newegg threw in a absolutely free game, HAWX2. Thanks, guys. A single tip: steam codes are so considerably easier than NVidia direct downloads.

GTX460 was (and perhaps nevertheless is) the very best performing video card for the money (seems like the HD 5770 was a very good value, too). My final card was a dependable EVGA GeForce 7800 GTX that I bought off of <most popular on the net auction site> more than 2 years ago. Needless to say this has been a major step up. Extremely pleased all round. My only complaint is that the plastic cowl (that shrouds the heat sink and fan) extends about half of an inch off the finish of the PCB unnecessarily. Thankfully this hasn't kept it from fitting in my case. I payed a tiny much less thanks to a sale throughout the holidays.

Seriously little and uncomplicated to set up, a number of adapters, Cheap - i got it right here on newegg for 115 right after MiR. I play business of heroes @ 1900x1200 in DX10 and anything on MAX with about 100 FPS. Extremely cool with 23C area temp it keeps 33 idle and beneath 60 on load. If I turn off vsync it goes to 63-64, but that is with the fan only on 50%! Even at 50% the fan is audible. Not noisy, but louder than the rest of my fans. No problem at all for me, but just FYI.Practically nothing else, make good quality appears excellent. I just hope i get my rebate now. Otherwise, its a lil more rapidly than the old 285 and a lot quieter and cooler, and only 115 bucks! Thank you newegg, for rapidly shipping as generally.

Loved the card, fast, fantastic good quality. Employed in a dual monitor set up, worked flawlessly. Following two weeks of owning, my machine would not boot into windows. uninstall-ed driver and the machine would boot fine. Attempted several diverse choices in trying to get the card to perform(installed older drivers, let windows locate the driver, reinstalled windows..and so forth) couldnt ever get it to function once more. This was the 1st time ive had any problem with a solution from NewEgg. I was able to get an RMA right away, they processed and gave me my refund within 48 hours of receiving the package. Quite a few thanks to the NewEgg client service. Will continue to buy from them!!

I think about this a upper mid-range video card. Did not expect it to blow my PJs off - I was not disapointed, due to the fact it did not. I was developing a laptop to edit pictures with and do smallish rendering. Cutting the ram to 768m was disapointing since this is a good video engine. But it needs the memory to live. I'm waiting....I'm waiting.....waiting......
