see other thoughts see other thoughts yeah I know I don't personal this card and I am not a verified purchaser, but in response to tzat's overview, don't let his couple of eggs sway you from a very good card. The initially point that any individual need to do when installing a new video, nvidia/ati, or any brand, should Generally download the newest drivers from the ship makers web page. Don't even bother opening the cd up that came with it, just leave it in the box or chunk it. In my 12 years of developing pcs I have never utilised a cd that came with the video card- get the most up-to-date drivers folks just before you give undesirable testimonials. tends to make a great solution appear bad!!!!

Fantastic efficiency from nvidia! Asus is a very reliable brand with good buyer support! Asus generally doesn't let me down, but I did get a poor card this time. I skilled serious functionality difficulties right after about 1 week of light use with this card. Red dots all over the screen, incredibly poor fps, extreme voltage drops, and total instability running OCCT and BFBC2. Even at stock clocks. I sent the Asus card back for a reference EVGA card. On the other hand, I've got absolutely nothing bad to say about ASUS. I've had excellent knowledge with dozens of their goods in the previous and have had completely no troubles whatsoever. I just got a poor card. Not certain if numerous men and women are attempting to oc these cards, but I'm beneath the impression that the Asus cards aren't good overclockers. Just hold that in thoughts when scouting out a 踰 card.

Out of the box as advertised. No heat issues as with the 400 series.26" 1920x1200 goodness. All black, no adolescent graphics.Overclocks excellent like a 570 should. This card and a fantastic CPU (think i7 950 or better) and FSX has under no circumstances looked better. Appears unbelievably good. Yeah, the software is craapp. Looks and feels like it was coded in 2001. Unless you're curious, don't even bother...use EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner.Made in China (like all the other folks). Why give a misleading item rating due to the fact you don't like UPS or Newegg?Get the most up-to-date drivers from Nvidia...266.58 as of this writing.Take pleasure in a beautiful 570 practical experience!

Quite quite incredibly really really quick. Has ran Crysis and BFBC2 ultra settings no challenges. When Folding beneath full load it makes a higher pitched scream. Yes the added energy cables are plugged in. When gaming this card doesnt make this sound, only when folding. So if you dont use it to Fold then it will operate wonders for you

Good packaging. Large pretty image on the front. The fantastic packaging genuinely didn't have much in the box. Huge card board inserts with like a single CD in a single and a couple of adapters in a different. And the card of program. Wast of trees.I've owned so a lot of graphics cards more than the years I can't even bear in mind them all and never had a single problem. This card on the other hand had such poor overall performance, lousy FPS in games and I couldn't figure out what the dilemma was. Asus site has gotten a small much better over the years but was nevertheless no support. A reviewer beneath mentions the issue could be due to the Asus software program that comes bundled with the card. I didn't see something about this on the Asus forums. I did get the drivers from Nvidia though.Took the card back bought an EVGA and it works great correct out of the box, proper away.

It lasted 2 weeks? The card only lasted two weeks. Produced the try to contact ASUS and that took an additional two weeks. Left messages for several various consumer service reps to recieve no word back. Attempted online chat help for USA and it does not exist. If you are a program builder and you depend on that 3 year guaruntee and decent turn around occasions for repairs when points do fail - asus is NOT the company to acquire from. I utilised to acquire ASUS whenever I had the opportunity, but I will in no way recommend this firm once again. Lastly, I pleeded my case to newegg and they agreed to let me swap it for yet another brand. 2 weeks immediately after finding my return approval from newegg a rep from asus called me. I told him that I'm sorry but I wont be buying any a lot more ASUS item - not until client help improves with the firm. So the guy hung up on me. Newegg you saved me once more. 5egg rating for newegg. If i could give this product a 0egg rating I would.

Installed devoid of a hitch. Downloaded drivers from nvidia, didn't use disc it came with. Runs cool and quiet. None. Just as excellent a item as EVGA. Any piece of hardware can have DOA's and failures. When you get a million tiny tiny pieces of electronics they can't all be great.

Quite stable card. Runs cooler than my HD5850 does under complete load. I like the asus logo on the side. Have not utilized the over volt software program so I cant comment. But with MSI afterburner it clocks at 800 GPU / 2000 MEM with no significant temp improve or need to boost voltage. None. I bout this card for Folding@home. Produces 16,282 points per day. Wow! Compaired to 4303points per day from the HD5850

This card is fantastic! I upgraded from a HD 5870. I can inform you I will under no circumstances go with ATI once again. I've usually employed nvidia cards and that's where I'll remain. This card can run BFBC2 maxed out at 1900x1200 with no troubles at all. The card is extremely quiet and runs smooth as silk. Now..The overclocking...The card comes from Asus with only 10mhz overclock on the core. I was not productive in overclocking the core past 850mhz without having serious throttling/voltage drop. The best I could get was 876mhz on the core and I picked up 15 errors in OCCT. I would not call that stable. So, the card some folks are running the core up to 900+mhz, these cards are few and far among. Not really an concern for me, but not substantially space for overclocking. I'm not confident what the heck everybody is so exited about this card becoming a spectacular overclocker, I don't see that to be correct. I suppose a 12% OC isn't too negative, but who knows. This is a wonderful card! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it.Stable @ 850񲿘񳊔 @ 1063mvVantage GPU score 24,197.----------Stock ﳦ뭎񳆼 @ 1013mvVantage GPU score 22,107Computer specsIntel core i7 930 @ 4.024ghz Gskill Ripjaw series 3x2gb DDR3 1600Asus P6X58D PremiumAsus GTX 570Prolimatech Megahalems coolerIntel X25V SSD

This is a rapidly and smooth powerhouse of a video card. It's low price tag point makes it a compelling choice for gamers. I like how this card works and I'm gonna order two more of them for the other two computers as soon as I can. Some internet sites are jacking the rates up on these as they start to sell out. Adding 40 bucks to the price simply because they're scarce is bad organization. I got this for 跽.99 here at newegg. A excellent deal on a great card.

Very fantastic video card, This is what the GTX 470른 really should had been. Not worth the upgrade if you already own a GTX 400 series card. To the guy who rated this 3 eggs. It is fairly prevalent knowledge to never ever use the included driver disc that comes with the video card. Those discs are for folks who don't have an online connection offered to have the card functional.

The cool issue about this Video card is that it is slightly overclocked by ASUS, but fees as considerably as a typical GTX 570. You do get a slight increase in benchmark scores with this overclock, but I don't assume there's any noticeable distinction in games. The point I like the most even though is how quiet it is. I utilized to acquire coolers for my previous cards, but I feel I'll just stick with stock cooling on this 1. It is a bit long, but it shouldn't be a problem for most gaming towers. I usually went with Radeon for my prior builds, but I purchased this a single ahead of HD6970 came out. Given that the efficiency and price tag are practically identical, I don't regret my decision to get GTX 570 at all; in particular thinking of that 6970 is most likely louder.

I have been with ATI for the last couple of video cards and I was really pleased with ATI. I purchased two of these cards for SLI and WOW, they scale extremely well. I should say these cards are extremely impressive. They carry out (on typical) about 20-30% far better than my HD 5970. That is saying some thing. The PhysX is amazing, it has helped take a lot of load off my CPU and has elevated some benchmarks by a lot more than double in (CPU) scores. Incredibly pleased with my acquire. In truth, I was so impressed I brought a friend more than to check out there efficiency and he now is buying two as well. Last of all they run cool and are quite quiet. Asus did a excellent job with these cards. two, 3 pin power connectors.... Can rip through most games at highest settings with ease. Also is very really. Cause I am posting is to put warning out there for those who get asus version of this card..It triggered me a enormous headache trying to track down why I was getting massive drops in fps(down to 1fps) in games such as world of warcraft. DO NOT USE THE DISK THEY GIVE YOU WITH THIS CARD TO DOWNLOAD DRIVER. USE NVIDIA Site. The programs that come on it ..smartdoctor and osu conflict with games and can trigger huge fps loss. Card is working as it should, as lengthy as you download drivers off nvidia internet site and do not download programs from ausus disk.

None. Card worked for 2 weeks and then commited suicide. Do not waste your time with ASUS. Go with the EVGA. Read these critiques and appear at all the men and women giving EVGA greater props. I just got my EVGA card installed and all my games run at 100% even though it's not an overclocked card. I think this card doesn't run properly at all. Reading over the evaluations of all the people today dropping fps right after altering to this card makes me think its a total failure. In addition, ASUS customer support does NOT exist. Had to bother the folks at Newegg and they let me return it to purchase the EVGA. Will never ever advise ASUS ever once again.

DirectX11, and its specifically what Fermi is meant to be. Upgrading to this from the GTX 285 resulted in a huge performance increase. I get 70 fps in Bad Firm two, and capped out fps in Black Ops. Going to be giving this bad boy a run at Crysis 2 a little bit later. In Crysis Warhead I have the settings on DX10 Enthusiast 1920x1200 16xAA... I get 35 frames per second, very smooth.Heat is not an issue like with the older generation. The heat dissipates incredibly nicely. Sits at 37C idle and hits about 61C at full load if I enable the fans to ramp up to about 50 - 60%. Tons of headway on this card for overclocking.I am overall really impressed by the cost/performance value these video cards bring to the table. It is not typically that you can get such a high efficiency out of a 跾 card rather of the usual high end from Nvidia. This only correlated to Asus in itself, and has nothing to do with Nvidia themselves, so no eggs are becoming knocked off for it.Asus Smartdoctor and the other junkware that comes on the driver disk is definitely worthless. If you are searching to do any overclocking with out a glitching plan, get MSI Afterburner. Personally, I like a plan that is controlling my hardware speeds to not glitch all the time.On an further note, I picked up these cards from Asus when they were priced at 跽 not on sale. I noticed that because my obtain they have raised the price to 踯 (which is asking wayy to much), and then put it on sale back to 跽. I uncover the price manipulation to be a bit abusive on the component of Asus. These cards are meant to be in the range of 跾 and need to Stay that way. The factory overclock on these video cards really should not influence your obtain, given that it has no efficiency boost in genuine globe applications. I myself have a extremely modest overclock and have it set at 800񳈰񳏀 with 1.0v to the card. Even so, I have seen others get an overclock up to 920 MHz core with only 1.1v and are completely stable. Personally, I am not pushing it that tough, but the GTX 570's have been identified to be pushed that tough by novices. Obtaining 900MHz from a novice is why I am telling you to not acquire these for the factory overclock... And with the price of these at 踰 now, these specific Asus cards are not worth the price when other brands with lifetime warranties are less costly.

If you take into account the price difference in between the 570 and the 580, this card is 100% worth it. Runs even the newest games in full quality at 720p resolution. It lags when using the 3D technology. Also, ASUS' utilities that are forced on you when installing the drivers for the card, are useless. I should have gone with the EVGA card, but it has been out of stock for weeks.
