Performs fine, no difficulty None Make sure you recall to go into your BIOS and turn your SATA driver on for the SATA # you are employing. I didn't at initially and believed the cable was broken.

Worked with the Kingwin eSATA bracket and Acomdata 1TB external drive. I didn't have any situation with acquiring the connector to stay in. Really stiff. 1m doesn't reach extremely far when the eSATA ports are situated near the bottom of the Pc.

Connector ends are right length and perform properly with Western Digital My Book Premium ES! Hooray! None for this price! Acquire THIS CABLE as an alternative of the "OK Gear" brand which fall 3mm as well quick on connectors to perform with WDC My Book series. THANKS NEWEGG!

It performs. No clips, so it can quickly fall out of my port on my HDD. I would call the rigidity of the cable a con, but I've been capable to operate about it. I want to price it reduce, but it operates well -- it can just fall out if I want to move the drive around as well much.

Incredibly high good quality cable, strong and hard to twist about. Connectors are high quality as well. Quite affordable, a no-brainer purchase Cable perhaps is a little Too really hard to snake around Just get it, and have eSATA speeds for your external HD

Appreciate the cable. Just the right size and works like a charm. I was worried since I had read how finiky some eSata cables are. No issues whatsoever None so far other than it was not cost-free Get it if you will need to connect an eSata drive

* Cheep* I get about 4MB/s transfer speed through this cable. Not as fantastic as eSATA should be (from what I read it must be a lot more like 20+ MB/s), but still far better than USB two. (which is about 1MB/s) Connectors don't fit properly. Slightest movement will momentarily disconnect my Seagate FreeAgent 500GB. Typing, for instance, causes adequate vibration on my desk to bring about a disconnection. Disconnection/reconnection causes computer system to lock up momentarily which is not great at all. I'd rather just use USB. I'm going to attempt a additional expensive cable. This cable was so cheep it isn't even worth the time to send back. eSATA is a confusing normal. I want the cable quality was on the exact same level with Firewire and USB, but it isn't.

Performs none I believed this cable wasn't functioning for more than a week, but then I realized I had not turned on the SATA port it was connected to in the boot setup. Worked fine right after I did that.

Price is low-cost, does the job None at the moment, but I could say "Can it be totally free?". I've study that others had difficulties with the connector, I didn't. The connectors connect without having any challenges, but this is also the only eSATA cable I personal, so I don't have an additional to examine.I've also read about transfer prices, I'm not confident how it behaves, or if it's the card that has limitations, but it wasn't as rapidly (or it didn't seem to be as quickly) as internal SATA. I am making use of Windows Home Server with that cable with a WD MyBook 1Tb connected. Unfortunatly WHS doesn't offer me with transfer rate, or I would have been satisfied to present that info back to you.

I bought this to function with my mATX Foxconn board. The board recognizes the connection to my ESata external Seagate Pro drive. Regrettably, even though, the software from Seagate doesn't function with ESata. Nevertheless it operates rapid. I can't see a huge distinction in between USB two. and ESata. Then againa I haven't tried massive transfers however. None

Nice cable, not as well stiff, not also flimsy. Great length. It operates! Can't think of a con for this cable. Cost was appropriate and rapidly shipping too. I ordered this along with KINGWIN 15.7" 鷐mm) eSATA Bracket cable Model ESAC-04 and in mixture they operate like a champ. I initially purchased an eSata card to set up in my motherboard which doesn't have an eSata port. This cable and bracket solved my problem and was beneath ten bones!

It's inexpensive and it performs flawlessly appropriate out of the package. Comments I read on some of the other low-cost cables just before I decided on this a single indicate that some end trimming is expected on these to let the connecters slide in far sufficient, or, they die after a though. No modification necessary on this a single, and it has been operating fine for far more than 2 months now. Stiff, not flexible like a USB or most Firewire cables. This is the only eSATA cable I've ever used, so maybe they're all the exact same. Working with this cable with an ExpressCard needs enabling for at least an additional 4 inches beyond the end of the card before generating a 90° or better turn towards the HD.

Operates wonderful, is low-cost. SATA is way more quickly than USB2, even - I like that. This unique cable is sorta brief. It says so proper on the box, although, so I can't actually complain. Packaging was chintzy.

Low cost. Does SATA II speed according to manufacturer: Absolutely nothing actually. This cable is eSATA to eSATA. It has an "I" shaped connector on each finish. NOT the "L" shape SATA connector.

It does what it is created to do. None so far. Am employing it to connect Fantom external challenging drive to Apevia 2-port eSATA bracket. Have used for 2 days, copied about 50 GB in Windows file copies with no difficulties. Seats OK in both drive and bracket. Copy of 30GB folder 񣜄 files) to external drive through eSATA took approx. identical time as to internal SATA drive.ྯቪ mins.)
