Cons: Range is good but not as good as I thought it was, plastic casing easily scratched, setup requires a little know how.

Pros: Tiny, does what it should do without any problems, connections are more fluid and seem faster when DL
Comment:
Overall it's a great little (literally) router. Does a great job on the wired side, I wish the range was a bit better but I can't complain for the price. The setup was easy but not for everyone. all in all it's definitely a product I would buy again.

Cons: Only average range for B/G connections.

Pros: Easy to setup. Improves signal quality. Small foot print.
Comment:
A little disappointing. I was hoping this model will greatly improve operating range of my old DLink G router, but it's only average range for B/G connections. It does appear to improve signal quality. I suppose the great user reviews about great range I'd read here were over N connections. This model is flexible so that I can use it as a repeater in the future to meaningfully improve range for B/G connectivity for smartphones and older laptops I frequently use.

Cons: Initial setup a little odd.

Pros: Fantastic rangeDoesn't stall on P2P downloadsGreat ping times
Comment:
My old Belkin router had a couple of MAJOR issues - it would absolutely lock up the internet connection for everyone in the house any time you started a P2P download, and it would frequently just drop  the connection to the internet. Dozens of times a day. Two days in, no drop ped connections and it doesn't even HICCUP at a P2P download. AWESOME!Also found a MASSIVE increase in signal strength. Don't know how much of it is the router, or how much is the difference in a G and N signal, but I can now get a stable connection on my iPod from three houses over. Used to be iffy in my driveway! Very impressive. The only real flaw in the whole system that I saw was the initial setup. There is an install CD, and when you run it, you get essentially a little PowerPoint slide show on how to connect the cables. Then it launches 192.168.0.1 in your web browser and asks for a username and password. Problem? It doesn't tell you anywhere on the router, or in the quick start guide, what those are! For reference, it's admin/admin. I guessed it. Beyond that, everything went pretty smoothly. I really don't see the point of the CD though. Just put a sticker on the router that says "Go to 192.168.0.1 in your browser to begin setup." The cable connections are shown in the QSG anyway. That's my nitpick of the whole thing. I know, huge problem, right?Up until this purchase, I have never seen, used, or heard of EnGenius. But I'll recommend them to anyone now. Very impressed.(And as always, NCIX shipping times are unbelievable. I can't order to my local stores as fast as they get things to me!)

Cons: Could not obtain 300mbps

Pros: FastGreat with P2P downloads
Comment:
As advertised, it is great with P2P transfers. I bought this router mainly because my old router kept freezing when downloading via P2P. Too many connections I guess... This Engenius router never froze. It has great range, good features. I never rebooted once since I plugged it in. Great buy! I got it at 49,99 on sale.

Cons: its cuteness clashes with my black theme.

Pros: small, cute, robust, easy to use
Comment:
Picked this up based on the reviews. Haven't tested the wireless n connection yet but the setup was fairly straight forward and easy. I notice that my speedtests are a little better since switching from a residential telus modem/router combo to telus's business modem and the engenius router for routing.

I bought this to replace a newly purchased D-Link DIR-655 which was an absolute nightmare (crazy speed drops, terrible wifi range). This engenius router was a lot cheaper and waaaaaay more powerful right out of the box. On wi-fi I am getting the same speed results as with cabled connection (I am on Shaw and used the speedtest.net).

Cons: Runs a bit warm, menu system not very advanced

Pros: Price, speed, easy to set up
Comment:
Excellent router for the price. Fast and so far very reliable. Easy enough to set up, though the UI is a little clunky but not terrible, just not as good as the ones from my old Linksys. Also noticed it runs quite warm, though doesn't seem to have any ill effect. Would recommend as an upgrade from 'G'. Definite improvement.

I bought this along with an EnGenius EUB9706 USB adapter, and I must say it is amazing! Up until using this combo I have been a firm believer in the fact that wired connections were the only option for gaming. I have since thrown out all my wires. Get it, you'll love it.

This is a fantastic router, I use it for online gaming like city of heroes and don't get disconnection for a moment even though its wireless, my connection is always 100% (unless I'm loading tons of things at once) but during the game it never goes below 100%, awsome purchase, get it!

Comment:
I really liked setting up this router, the change settings and reboot screens are fast! The unit runs and feels solid as is it's range. Haven't had a single hiccup with wireless clients in a week. The footprint on a desk is very small! The LED's are not the harsh searchlight bright LEDs that burn your retinas either. Setup pages loaded fast and the settings to tweak such as Port Forwarding/Blocking etc are well featured. Overall a very nice compact router. As a side note I'm using a couple of the troublesome Asus Wireless G PCI adapters that everyone flamed on here and these adapters for me have been solid and stay connected 100%...count myself lucky.

Cons: one minor minor thing and I am very picky, I hate the bright blue LED's. and that is the ONLY problem I can find, I work with routers and backbone networks all day long. this is a really good piece of hardware.

Pros: Easy setup, updated firmware, slick, very small, good features. easy to setup, good range, supports vpn and I can remote in from work at any time. My speed is 22 Mbps on my 15 Mbps circuit with or without the router so ABSOLUTELY no bottle necking from this hardware.
Comment:
to sum it up. I can highly recommend this. I was a little weary a new company to me but boy have they done it right.

Cons: Tech support can be weak, firmware hard to find. Not a lot of info on them on the net.

Pros: Fast, has not crashed since I bought it, lots of software options
Comment:
After reading the reviews on NCIX I decided to give this router a go, I'm glade I did. I was able to reach my full download speed with Shaw on a internet speed test (shaw exstream is what I use). The software can be a little confusing for the novice (that's me) but it has the basics and more advanced options for the network savvy. Tho the firmware support can be hard to find, it work out of the box and works well. If it's not broke don't fix it. Pair this up with the EnGenius EUB9706 and you'll be good to go.

Comment:
I purchased this wireless router together with the companion wireless adapter. It took me approximately one-half hour to have everything up and running. My installation was made easier by the fact I was simply changing from an older router. Anyway, once I got everything up and running, I was amazed at the increase in speed. I went from a download speed of 6 Mbps to 21 Mbps. My upload speed remained approximately the same. At this point, I can recommend this equipment without hesitation.

Pros: Small, excellent stock firmware, multiple SSID capability out of the box, rock solid stable, price, 300mbps.

Excellent 802.11n router for an excellent price. I get a great signal two floors down in the basement. I haven't heard of EnGenius before, but from the looks of it I've found a new favorite brand. The stock firmware is loaded with features, including multiple SSIDs.

This Engenius router is surprisingly robust. The stock firmware has one of the most features rich. It would be a five stars if it looks better or have free DD-WRT support.

Replacing a D-Link wireless G which had served brilliantly for the past 18 months but was beginning to periodical drop  connections. Setup was a breeze and a nice bump in range moving to wireless N. Signal strength is now at max in the furthest bedroom where as it was a few notches below with the D-Link.

I was looking for a new wireless router and this was on sale with a free usb adapter. This bad boy has a tonne of options for networking. So far my signal has increased and so have my speeds. One of my favorite options is the ability to use as a repeater, which increases this products lifetime and usefulness. I have to say I was surprised at how small this is.

Cons: None - I highly recommend this router.

Pros: Excellent price/performance
Comment:
I hadn't heard of Engenius networking products, and only purchased this router based on the last review posted here. I am glad I did, this router works better than expected. I have a combination of 13 PC's/gaming consoles, some wireless, some wired, with 2 switches helping split the wired systems. I thought my old D-Link was a good router, but wasn't getting a great signal on the second floor of our house (the router is located in the basement). The router also came with an N adapter that was a free gift. This router does seem faster than the old D-link Wireless G on the wired computers, and is definitely better wireless. I connect at 270Mbps on a PC located on the main floor, with furnace duct work, a wall, and of course, the floor between the router and system. Our notebook located on the second floor used to throttle back to about 1/2 speed (or less), and usually had less than half of full signal. The notebook now connects at 54Mbps (its rated speed) all the time, with full signal. What a drastic improvement.Setup was simple as well. Please note, I'm not saying anything bad about the D-link router as it is an older "regular" G router and it's like comparing apples to oranges, but what I am saying is that for the price, this router is excellent. Comment:
Engenius routers are not common, yet they are the best I have ever used. I network, and run wireless setups for a living, and these are hands down the best. I only get about 1 out of 200 that doesn't work right...whereas the other 2 more know brands tend to last a year, then die, and have a 30% out of the box failure rate.Get this router, and you will not have to constantly reset, power cycle, or dump wireless again. If you have any issues using the wireless...its your computer, not this router!
