Cons: -bright LEDs-wireless range is ok, could be better-no DD-WRT firmware available yet

Pros: -stable-gigabit LAN-multiple SSIDs-great price point compared to competition
Comment:
This is a really great router. Once set up, you never need to touch it again. No need for constant rebooting. No dropped connections. This was my first criterion for a router--solid, stable router that just works! On top of that, there are a number of great things about this router. It is capable of very high throughput on the network, so having multiple computers doing bandwidth intensive activities should be no problem, plus the gigabit LAN will help a lot with that. Multiple SSIDs are great for having separate wireless networks for different purposes. For example, a guest SSID can be set up with no permissions to access other network devices, etc. Plus, this router is a great value considering its performance. It does not have a lot of the extra fancy features found in other routers, like USB ports, doubling as a print server, acting as a network file server, but this router delivers what it promises, and it does its job really well. The cons are just some nitpicking, and haven't affected my enjoyment of the unit. The power and activity indicator LEDs are really bright. Fortunately, the router is not in any bedroom as it would be quite disturbing. I'd love to see an option in the firmware to disable them. Ideally, it would be nice to see a stronger signal, but this is not any weaker than the two previous routers it replaced. Also, it would be nice to have the DD-WRT firmware available. However, the stock firmware has many options, including some advanced options, and there is no particular feature that I'm missing right now. Setting up this router was not difficult either. Overall, this is a solid, stable, highly performing router that focuses on getting the job done right instead of offering every option under the sun. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Wonderful Router,Engenius is a solid company, router has been stable since setup with the option of multiple SSIDs too.i also have the 9250 extender from engenius to use along with this router..This is currently hooked up in the basement of a 5000+ sq feet home...so you can imagine what its like to use wireless on the the upper level.i've already tried D-link, Cisco, and linksys routers...other than the WRT54Gs... pretty much the rest is garbage included 655, M20s,

Pros: Powerful. Wifi is great, wired connections are great.

Would really like some open firmware on this router... perhaps in the future. Its inbuilt firmware works great as-is mind you. Bought 2 of these for 2 different places, no issues.

Replaced a DLink G. Am running 2 PCs at N and one still at G with no problems. Documentation is a little iffy. Speed is wonderful.

I wanted this specifically for the gigabit ethernet. It works great. No problems setting up wireless. I did have problems initially but there support worked with me and we got it going.

Great router. Not easy to setup since no manual came with it. Called to get the manufacturer's phone number. Was not too impressed with their response or knowledge. It took over 2 hours to get the router setup with a new IP number. They sure do need to do more training with their staff. Other than a few snags, I would rate this router highly.

It worked great right out of the box. For the most part easily configured. The only thing that I wish it did was disable wireless B, while allowing G and N.

hooked this up quickly and the setup was pretty straightforward, if you've done it much before. I say that because you don't have to configure much, but there were choices to make that involved features I was not up to date on, and the documentation isn't well written. Beyond that EXCEllent performance, especially now that i have a gigabit adapter for my laptop!

I've set up many routers and this one was easy. My initial concern was that the IP addresses the router passes out were not in the range of my established network. However, all worked fine even with that issue.

Pros: reliable, strong signal, easy to setup

installed it for 4 weeks now, replace D-link DIR-628, it works far better than D-link. I do not need to reset it every day any more

I was looking for a wireless router that could handle both short & long distances as well as computers & game systems. I had bought a Linksys at first & spent OVER $100 on it, but it was crap. I found this one & the reviews seemed to be promising. It works great & the ONLY complaint I can make is that my husband has to keep his PS3 hardwired to it, but from what I hear, ALL wireless routers are pretty much that way when it comes to the speed for gaming. If you are looking for a good, quality router without having to spend a fortune then this is a great choice.

It comes with no manual except on the CD. It is easy to hookup if you remember one thing that they do not say in the instructions, reboot the router, the cable modem and the computer every time you change something. It took me 2 hrs to learn that but then things went better. It does have better speed and range than my previous router.

I needed a wireless to replace my wired 10100. This is the newest standard in wireless. My other router bottle necks with two PCs on a network. I don't have this problem anymore. The downloads are super fast and playing my play station and streaming videos from the internet is great with no slow downs. Very easy to install and run. Get the warranty as well. It's a deal and worth it.

Just got it setup. Web based setup is ok, not great but serviceable. Setup currently in repeater mode, today when my new faster internet shows up I will reconfigure it to AP mode. Streams netflix to my blu-ray player with ease connects 802.11 G devices with no issues, havn't connected anything with N yet. Gigabit wired ports were essential. Great price! Fast shipping as usual.
