I was introduced to these speaker by a friend and really like the the sound quality and high output of the subs, but had nothing but problems with these units. The first set I recieved was defective and didn't play at all, the replacement I checked out had loose components in the sub. Thinking it was because it was old stock I waited for new units to arrive. Went through 2 out of the 10 new unit they had at their BC warehouse since last Tuesday and both had small imperfections and packaging that looks as if it had been opened before. Suspect that all new unit sent to them by Eagle Tech are in the same condition.So really wouldn't pay full price for these at this condition, but if you get it on sale why not. |

I bought these speakers not expecting too much but oh man was I in for a surprise! I have a $450 5:1 surround sound system hooked up to my tv atm & I hooked these up to my computer & they blow the 5:1's out of the water! If you are on a budget & want a great sound system this is DEFINITELY the best bang for the buck! Bass shakes my room! Wouldn't recommend mounting them on a wall though because the cords are only 5ft long. |

Pleasantly surprised. Not Hi-Fi by any stretch, but if you wanted something that bridged the gap in sound and volume between the low end logitech stuff and higher end edifiers and klipschs, this system has a lot of appeal at it's pricepoint.Bass is loud and full, and not voiced too badly for a small driver, mains easily keep up without getting honky, more balance than what you'd expect. Adjustable Sub and treble controls with a remote are handy.No way to turn down the garish lighting, but at least you can hide it under your desk and still control it.Won't shake the room, but the musical and high output of the system makes it a recommended buy at it's pricepoint. I've heard plenty of bigger-name stuff sound worse and cost more.Cabinetry is pretty cheap for the mains, would have liked thicker chipboard or mdf used. RCA connections for speakers. |
I am a sound engineer and i have 3 different sets of monitoring speakers for various audio work. For computer speakers these are really great for the price. Great bang for your buck. Good range, controllable treble and bass and loud enough to shake the room if you want. Would reccommend.
