Bought this to use with a IDE SSD I bought (that didn't work in my laptop). Everything worked great and I can now use my IDE SSD as a glorified flash drive. Speeds are not as good as I thought they would be but that could be because of the poor right speed of my samsung IDE SSD. |

Cons: Honeycomb mesh enclosure not safe from water spillage (This maybe a weakness depend on end user usage)Some system may require 2 USB slot to power the device, it comes with a "Y" USB connector.
Pros: Two minutes from inserting HDD'n 4 screws the enclosure close to USB plug'n play working.It detects partitioned drives. Comment:
Reason for purchase:I needed a 2.5 IDE HDD enclosure to USB 2.0 because my sister broke my laptop and she needs the data in the HDD.Reasons to purchase:This product its value from price point that gets the job done. |
I had a old 30GB 2.5 IDE kicking around and this enclosure brought it back into use at a extremely low price, very satisfied.
