Cons: Bright picture for 2D - could be dimmed out but I enjoy it as is. Front control switches not so easy to navigate (but still ok).
Pros: No blinking, very minimal ghosting, at last a monitor bright enough for 3d glasses, a breeze to use |

Cons: Turning on the monitor, it takes about 8 seconds each time. A side note about the 3d, if you have a second monitor that isn't 3d, the nvidia 3d vision won't turn on... you have to disconnect it in the control panel - this isn't a con of the monitor, just annoying in general.
Pros: Very Bright, very good 3d effect, great colors in comparison to my other TN panel monitor, low power draw as it's an LED, and of course, it's 120HZ so 2d movies and 2d games are very fluid and smooth! Comment:
I mainly bought this monitor for the 120Hz, and not the 3d effect, but surprisingly, the 3d effect is very good, didn't give me a headache, and I'll use it more often than I thought.The price is quite expensive, but I am mon the computer so often for work, internet, games, etc - that I justified it, and I don't regret it! Most of the reviews that I read for this monitor said it was one of the best or the best at colors (you have to config yourself), 3d, and blacks. I have to agree. I have 2 other monitors that I can compare to, and it blows them out of the water. The brightness is so high that I had to turn it down to 30% and it's still brighter than my other 2 TN panel monitors (Dell and Samsung).Anyways, I love it!Here are my user monitor settings, you should add yours too!Brightness:33Contrast:74R:72G:72B:71Those were setup with the help of the config software that comes with the monitor. |
I already had 3D glasses 6 years ago - that was a somewhat interesting experience then, however more for showoff than everyday gaming - and lots of bugs. This one however, is nothing less than STUNNING ! I have used it for long periods without any headaches, do not see any blinking (except if the surrounding area is very lighted), the ghosting is only occasional and will not affect the experience.I am rediscovering every game again, with the impression that everything exist and happens for real in front of my eyes.
