Two day UPS ground delivery for standard shipping fee. Kudos to TigerDirect and UPS on that. This DVD drive is ideal for netbooks. USB powered, requiring no separate power supply. Hinged lid halves the footprint required by a sliding drawer type drive. One of very few lightscribe enabled compact external DVD drives. The only negative is the Nero 8 Express software that is included. I very quickly uninstalled this application and installed Nero 7 Express that was included with a previous DVD drive purchase. I was disappointed that your company only stocked this item in white. Would have much rather have had black; however, I bought the white knowing it was white and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Since it is USB powered, it is a bit slower for burning dvd's. If you just use it to watch a dvd or install software it works just fine, depending on the computer its connected to. I use mine with a netbook, which is slow itself, but they make a great pair if you have some patience. Can't beat the price.

The Cd with the drive has been loaded 3 times with no success. I then go to the the liteon website and this unit is not listed as a driver to download. So now I am having to write them to find the next step.
