I don't understand whats wrong with it when I set it up in the same room as my router I get full bars and then I moved it away and all of sudden I get 1 bar just moving it 1 room away. It made no sense I'm trying to contact EnGenious but their tech support line is a joke. |

Bought to pair with ESR-9752. Can't complain on price. Easy to setup and install in Win 7. Only minor gripe is I don't get full bars despite being only about 10 meters from the router. |

Never had to install anything in a MAC, and I found many cards supported only 10.4 and up, which required me to get a new comp. This device worked like a champ. |

I bought this to use with the Engenius ESR-9752 router, and it has been extremely reliable and fast. It gets full bar signal through three floors, and has a very stable connection rate, so gaming is a non issue. Before this kind of quality of a wireless signal, gaming or downloading was meant to be done wired. I have since replaced all of my wired connections with these adapters. |

If you are thinking about getting this item for range, dont even think about it. MIMO doesnt seem to work, and my wireless G laptop both has better range, and faster speeds. I suggest you dont buy this unless you plan on putting it in the same room as the router. |

This adapter seems what I call average for N. It has decent spikes in the connection. COMPARES with a no-name adapter I ordered for half the price (At a website I cannot say), with the same specifications. Make sure you configure this adapter BEFORE SECURING you're wireless network, certain SETTINGS complicate the process.
Pros: Excellent adapter, works excellent with Engenius ESR-9752. Have a continuous 270 mbps wireless. Working at 100% through two well insulated walls on upper floor, and through a well insulated floor. Never drops a connection. Comment:
A great N adapter on sale, I do not believe it can accomplish 300 mbps via usb, but still a great adapter, with -OK- tech support (for drivers only), but in the end reliable. Engenius lives up to thier product, try them! |

It's a dongle that work well. I have had no issues other than trying to find drives for it. That being said it's plug and play there is not real need to find drivers for it. I would recommend this one to my friends and family. |

I purchased this wireless adapter together with the companion wireless N router. It took me approximately one-half hour to have everything up and running. My installation was made easier by the fact I was simply changing from an older router and adapter. Anyway, once I got everything up and running, I was amazed at the increase in speed. I went from a download speed of 6 Mbps to 21 Mbps. My upload speed remained approximately the same. At this point, I can recommend this equipment without hesitation. |

The adapter works fast as advertised. The details the software provides such as decibel level is quite refreshing. But for some reason it disconnects whenever I lock my computer (using the wireless adapter's driver, as opposed to the default windows zero wirelees configuration). Is this a documented bug? So I won't give it a 5 of 5 for performance. |

Purchased this to replace my old eub9702 adapter which still work but gets hot at times plus the tip is a bit loose. I just upgraded to WIN7 so I read the reviews before purchase. I installed with and without the drivers that came with the adapter. WIN7 sees the adapter but it won't connect to my WNR2000 router. I called up tech support and they recommend that I remove the security feature from my Netgear router. I did that and it still would not connect. I will be returning it. |

No Range less than 65 feet away from my router - no obstruction and very little other RF interference and receive very low signal - my system fluctuates between 13mbs, 18mbs to 216mbs. I have a DIR-615 router. tweaked and tweaked no improvement. |

You really can't find a better quality N Adapter for the price. This adapter runs either on OSX or WIN7 like a champ. Just don't install the OEM software--it's crap. Both OSX or WIN7 auto recognize it and use it right out of the box. It's also pretty slim and doesn't stop you from using adjacent USB ports. With plug-and-play like this, it's hard to imagine going with a in-box card--especially with all the compatibility issues AND for you Mac users out there, this beats the pants off of the airport cards. |

We bought this adapter when the Airport card on our MacBook died. The adapter does not get any signal where Airport had full four bars. Works great after we moved the computer to the same floor of the house as the wireless station. You will likely be happy with it if range is not at all important to you. |

This USB adapter works nicely with Engenius ESR-9752. I bought the two at a bundle deal of $40. For the price, it's a steal. Quality is above expectation, especially the Engenius ESR-9752 router. |
I used this adapter instead of my Dlink Dual Band USB adapter after I couldn't achieve decent strength with the DLink. My dlink would see 3 to 4 bars at best with about a 100mbps connection. With the Engenius I could place it out of the way in the same room and achieve 4 to 5 bars at 270mbps connection. For me I found this adapter had better results than my more expensive dual band adapter utilizing either of the 2.4 or 5GHZ ranges.
